In the past, Tobolsk was the capital of the Siberian Governorate, a vast area stretching from the Ural Mountains to the Pacific Ocean, comparable in size to all of Europe.

Tobolsk was the first city in Siberia to receive city status. It is home to the only Kremlin in Siberia, built according to the design of Semjon Remesow, known as the "Siberian Da Vinci."

Results of early elections:

— Victory for the CDU/CSU – 28.52% (208 seats in parliament);
— Second place – Alternative for Germany – 20.8% (151 seat);
— SPD and former Chancellor Scholz – 16.41% (121 seat);
— The Greens – 11.61% (85 seats);
— The Left – 8.77% (64 seats);
— South Schleswig Voter Association (SSW) participates – 0.2% (one seat in the Bundestag as a party of national minorities).

It wasn't quite enough for a parliamentary coup:

— Alliance Sahra Wagenknecht – 4.97% (0 seats);
