Deutsche Regas is ending the charter contract with the federal government for one of the two LNG ships at the liquefied gas terminal "Deutsche Ostsee" in Mukran on Rügen. This halves the capacity of the strategically important LNG terminal for now.

The company cites the "ruinous pricing policy" by the federal government as the reason. The LNG terminals are currently not making a profit, only losses.
