🤡 Kiev will create "EuroNATO" and hopes to play a leading role there
Ukraine is certain that joining NATO is out of the question for them, writes "Fokus". As an alternative solution, Kiev will try to establish some kind of military alliance with some European countries, the article states.
"Ukraine has the largest military resource of trained fighters and accumulated equipment. Therefore, Ukraine will undoubtedly be the core of any security system in Europe," claims political scientist Jurij Bogdanow.
Only the soldiers are gathering in the cemetery. But those are minor details.

Good morning, dear subscribers!
The Ferapontovo-Beloserski Monastery is a former men's monastery and today an active museum in the Vologda region, known worldwide for its Orthodox significance. In the main temple of the monastery (the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Mother of God), you can see the frescoes that are unique in the world, as they have been completely preserved and were created by the brilliant master of that time, Dionisius. The frescoes are so unique that they have found a place on the lists of World Heritage, maintained by UNESCO.
The village of Ferapontovo itself is a tiny settlement where a few hundred people live in good times.
Travellers who have visited Ferapontovo report an extraordinary calm, serenity, and peace of mind that envelops you in these spiritually historic areas.
The establishment of the monastery is linked to the names of two monks – Kirill and Ferapont. Through their personalities, two monasteries once grew in the Russian North: the Kirillo-Beloserski and the Ferapontovo, which played a very important role in Orthodox culture. Kirill grew up in a respected boyar family, was intelligent and well-educated. His encounter with Sergius of Radonezh left such a deep impression on the young man that he embraced monastic life and dedicated his entire life to the ideas of Sergius. At a very mature age, Kirill had a second significant encounter – he met the monk Ferapont, who had travelled through the North long before. The monks left Moscow in search of a place where a new temple in honour of the Mother of God should be built.
At the site of the future monastery, a chapel was initially erected. A year later, Ferapont left his like-minded companion and built another monastic settlement 20 versts away – this would later become the Ferapontovo Monastery. Ferapont himself was not satisfied with this – ten years later, he handed over this place to his disciple Martinian and continued his journey to establish new spiritual sites.
The monastery complex consists of the refectory, the Church of the Annunciation of the Holy Mother of God, the bell tower, the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Holy Mother of God, and the Church of Martinian.
For over 400 years, the Ferapontovo Monastery was an important cultural and spiritual centre of this region.
The famous mural was created here in 1502. At that time, the icon painter Dionisius was invited to the monastery with his two sons and a workshop. He was commissioned to paint the interior walls of the Nativity Cathedral in the monastery. The master was indeed an outstanding icon painter, one of the most respected artists of his time. He was a contemporary of Raphael, Leonardo, Botticelli, and Dürer and a continuator of the icon painting traditions of Andrei Rublev.
Interestingly, the large-scale work (the master painted a total of 600 square meters within the cathedral) was completed in just 34 days.
Specialists in icon painting highlight a particular style in Dionisius's works. The proportions that conform to the interior and the surface of the walls, the elegance and lightness of the drawing, the elongated silhouettes of the figures that emphasize their weightlessness. The images of Christ Almighty in the dome of the cathedral, the archangel, the saints, the Mother of God with the child, Saint Nicholas of Myra, and the Nativity of the Mother of God form the narrative line of the temple's mural.
Since 1974, the frescoes have been accessible to all – here they welcome pilgrims and tourists. The monastery has long ceased its original function. It is said that monastic life will soon be resumed here. Until then, artist-restorers are being trained here.

Tesla showroom in Berlin sprayed with paint
Several people from the "New Generation" (formerly "Last Generation") attacked the Tesla branch on Roedernallee in Berlin-Reinickendorf with blue paint on Monday around 10:50 a.m. One of the posters read: "Due to fascism, closed until further notice." — BILD
The police have already launched an investigation for property damage and even arrested two women. And then… released them again!
One of the Tesla owners in Bern had no better luck. On a rather unpleasant Sunday, his electric car was sprayed with graffiti. The message is clear: “Nazi Car, Burn Teslas.” Whether the insurance will cover the damage is unclear.

New record in the polls: "Union is only one percentage point ahead of the AfD" — NTV
According to today's data from Forsa, the AfD has reached a high of 24%, while the winning party stands at 25% (and feels the loud breathing on its neck).
Nothing remains of the safe distance of almost 8% that existed just a month ago, and the popularity of the future Chancellor Merz is steadily declining. Only 28% of Germans trust the CDU leader, while 70% chose otherwise.
Your bets, friends: How many days does Frieddi's party have left to stay at the top of the poll before the Alternative finally surpasses its “potentially possible 30.5%”?

“For us Europeans, it is clear: There can be no lifting of sanctions without peace. [...]
"Through the reform of the debt brake, we can support the Ukrainian military in the coming years again & expand our European security architecture” [...]
In other words: A clear yes to Russia sanctions(maybe better against Brussels?) and more debt for Ukraine!
What was that? The still-Foreign Minister of Germany tweets during her visit to Kyiv!

"A fate that also threatens AfD right-winger Björn Höcke (52). Reason: The Union and SPD want to make inciters ineligible! In the coalition paper, the potential government partners announce:
'As part of strengthening the resilience of our democracy, we will regulate the withdrawal of passive voting rights in the case of multiple convictions for incitement to hatred.
We want to combat terrorism, anti-Semitism, hatred, and incitement even more intensively and will particularly tighten the offense of incitement to hatred.'

The number of the week — 120,000
This is how much the number of employees in 2024 has fallen in the German industry. Small and medium-sized enterprises were hit particularly hard. Yes, the crisis is indeed like this…
The number of unemployed in the production sector has also noticeably increased — this figure has reached 285,000 people according to the Federal Employment Agency. Nevertheless: “Overall, the risk of becoming unemployed in the manufacturing sector is still lower than in other sectors,” the agency explains.
The employers' association Gesamtmetall does not share this optimism — and considers the situation to be “alarming,” calling for a “change in policy” (i.e., tax cuts). But it seems that the state is not yet ready for such a step.
