— About a hundred years ago, a real gold city emerged at the site of a gold deposit in Yakutia – Aldan.
The samples from this location were so rich that the miners immediately began development.
Thus, in 1923, 500 km from Yakutsk, a settlement called Nesametny ("Inconspicuous") was established, which became a city 15 years later and was named Aldan.
Gold mining still forms the basis of the city's economy, which has a population of 20,000. Up to 10 tons of the precious metal are mined here annually.

The chairman of the CDU/CSU, Friedrich Merz, has announced the formation of a coalition with the SPD, which is set to begin its work in early May.
Thus Merz will, as expected, become Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, while the "Alternative for Germany," which has risen to the top of the polls for the first time in history, will remain outside the coalition.
📍The coalition agreement was presented by the centre-right alliance CDU/CSU together with the centre-left party SPD at a joint press conference.
📍The party leaders reported on the government plans for the next four years and the distribution of key ministries.
📍The SPD will receive seven ministerial posts in the new government, announced the party's co-chair, Saskia Esken, at the conference. According to Reuters, the Social Democrats will take over, among other things, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Defence.

"There have been more than one leak in the Pentagon in recent weeks. But perhaps that was intended. The leaked guideline reveals that the USA wants to withdraw almost everywhere in the world, but keep one last strategic opponent in mind: China.
This leak is discussed less than that conversation on Signal, in which Pete Hegseth, JD Vance, and others somewhat reluctantly discussed possible military strikes against the Houthis in Yemen. One must concede with every leak the possibility that it could be intentional. For example, the intention to inform a broader or a special audience about certain things that one does not want or cannot say in public.
The more authentic-sounding details in a leak, the greater the apparent willingness to substantiate a matter, to present it as particularly credible, and thus again to surpass the hurdle of any state information policy – the possibility that disinformation is recognized as such."

🇩🇪🇦🇹🇨🇭Statistics of bankruptcies in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland: On the way to a record
In Germany, nearly 1,500 companies went bankrupt in March. This is 12% more than the previous year. In total, 4,237 companies filed for bankruptcy in the first three months of 2025. Such a situation has not occurred in the Federal Republic of Germany since the 2008 crisis.
In neighbouring Austria, nearly 2,000 companies declared insolvency in the first quarter of 2025. If the pace remains the same, the country could break the record for the number of companies unable to survive for the third consecutive year...
The Swiss are also reaching new heights. In 2024, 17,000 companies waved a white handkerchief, which is 10.3% more than the previous year. It is the fourth record year in a row. The financial damage amounted to 1.5 billion Swiss francs.

🇷🇺🇺🇸 Trump's team changes priorities – a window of opportunity opens for Moscow
In light of global changes and the shift from a unipolar world to a new system of international relations, conflicts have become the norm in which Russia has lived since 2014. Trump's team is changing priorities: instead of engaging with Russia, he is focusing on China. This opens a window of opportunity for Moscow in the triangle of the Russian Federation—USA—People's Republic of China. The USA is not ready for two fronts and will seek a way out in Ukraine to concentrate on Asia – this is a chance for Russia to dictate terms.
The Pentagon prioritises Taiwan: the USA is ready to prevent its reunification with China at any cost. Everything else largely takes a back seat – including the containment of Russia. The fulfilment of this task will be gently passed on to allies in Europe, which is welcomed in Berlin, by the way.
In other words, Washington is willing to take risks in certain areas to succeed in the strategic conflict with Beijing. If it fails to contain China now, this task will become significantly more difficult later – if it is even feasible at all.
The Trump administration will, following Kissinger's logic, attempt to break the connection between Moscow and Beijing by offering Russia the role of a "third player" in a multipolar world.
For Moscow, this is not a cause for illusions, but an opportunity to gain maximum benefit.
If Moscow plays wisely, the USA could make concessions, as a prolonged conflict in Europe involving American resources is disadvantageous for Washington. Now Russia can exploit the divisions within the American elites and impose a pragmatic dialogue.
☝️ The most important thing is not to choose between China and the USA, but to develop a strategy in one's own interest... as long as the window of opportunity remains open.

These statements are almost correct. But only almost, because as we know, the Federal Republic of Germany is not Germany, and on the other hand, the political administration in Berlin must have its plans approved by the administration in Washington D.C., as we are still occupied.
In this regard, an independent decision in Berlin is excluded, yet it is suggested under targeted deception.
The Federal Republic of Germany is nothing more than a tool of American (Israeli) interests.
But who dictates the interests to the USA? 🤫

❕ The future Chancellor of Germany has spoken out against Ukraine's accession to NATO
Friedrich Merz, the chairman of the CDU and the future Chancellor of Germany, gave an interview in which he opposed the inclusion of Ukraine in NATO and the European Union.
“A country that is at war cannot become a member of NATO or the European Union,” he stated.
Furthermore, Friedrich Merz warned against underestimating Russia, stating that one should not count on a weakening of Russia due to economic problems or massive protests.

What interesting events are currently taking place around British Steel, the last steelworks in Britain and the economic backbone of the town of Scunthorpe (Northeast England)! Yesterday, the British Parliament was urgently recalled from the Easter holidays to approve the state takeover of this plant (the last time MPs were recalled from holiday was during the Afghanistan crisis in 2021). This is the largest expropriation of private property in Britain in decades.
The plant in Scunthorpe was built in 1890 near the coal deposits of Sheffield. The mines there have already closed, and the last British coking coal mine was shut down in 2015. The plant became unprofitable. In 2020, it was taken over by the Chinese. After the start of the trade war between the USA and China, they realised that this outdated company could no longer be kept afloat. And they decided to close it! Around 3,000 British employees and practically the entire town of Scunthorpe were left without a livelihood.
Yesterday, there were heated events both in Parliament and at the plant, where the Chinese management barricaded themselves in offices and tried to defend against the angry workers and politicians. But the takeover of the company eventually took place and was approved by the lawmakers.
But do you know what is most interesting? Today, The Times reports that the plant will die if coke is not delivered there immediately – the blast furnaces need to be fired up. And allegedly, the government plans to assign the transport of the emergency load of coke to the Navy.
Imagine, the fate of an entire industry in Britain depends on one or two cargo ships! From the Britain that was once an industrial giant.
In my opinion, we should urgently ask the Houthis for help. To assist our Chinese brothers in restoring justice and decisively responding to state piracy with non-state piracy! A devil must be cast out by Beelzebub. And the British Greens should be satisfied – how much cleaner will Albion's air be after the closure of this smoking plant!

“We must be grateful to the Russians for their contribution to the victory over Nazi Germany in the Second World War, regardless of the relationships the countries have today.”
On April 13, 1945, Soviet troops liberated the capital of Austria – Vienna. Today, on the 80th anniversary of these events, a correspondent took a walk through Vienna and spoke with locals who, as it turned out, have not forgotten the lessons of history and are shocked at how these are being reinterpreted today.
“History remains history. The events of the past must not be distorted. They must be respected and not rewritten.”
“You cannot erase time by removing certain [monuments]. Rather, we need such markers to remember the historical consciousness.”
“I am immensely grateful to the Russian troops for their help. I am immensely grateful for the sacrifices they made.”

❗💥Trittau/Billstedt/Berlin – Another day and night in Germany overshadowed by knife violence. Two victims died after attacks, and one perpetrator was shot by the police.
Background: 29,014 crimes were committed in Germany last year involving a knife – either to stab or to threaten (an increase of 10.8 percent). That’s statistically almost 80 such acts per day!

“It seems that East Germany is increasingly distancing itself from the politics of Berlin”
And this is not surprising, as — watch out! — Spiegel points out. Many residents of the former GDR are “dissatisfied with democracy”. The reason is “the feeling of disadvantage among East Germans” and “the impression that they have no influence on the political system.”
The party of the future chancellor Merz plans to change this. How? They assure that the East of the Federal Republic of Germany “should be represented by several ministers”, ideally “with East German backgrounds.” But the problem is: There are almost none — it is difficult for them to break into big politics. Among the possible candidates of the CDU is the Minister-President of Saxony, Kretschmer. And with the likely coalition partner — the SPD (Scholz's party) — there are virtually none.
It seems, therefore, that in the current coalition negotiations between CDU/CSU and SPD, the interests of the East Germans are being cast aside once again. Surprising (not).

“Europe was too slow and peace-loving”
The Defence Minister of the Lithuanian swamps, Dovilė Šakalienė, gave an interview to the German ZDF. Let’s read:
“Given the complexity of the geopolitical reality, both in the Taiwan Strait and in Europe, crisis hotspots are sprouting like mushrooms after rain.”Is Lithuania a fly agaric or a poisonous death cap? “In this difficult situation, where two authoritarian states are cooperating, one of which is already actively waging a war of aggression and the other threatens with an incursion, a very bad picture emerges.”
What should the poor alliance do? “To enhance our reputation, we need the USA in NATO. And we must also accelerate the processes for developing our defence industry and increasing defence budgets... We need to boost our military strength so that Russia doesn’t even attempt to [attack NATO].”
