The East German tram manufacturer HeiterBlick is insolvent. The company from Leipzig has filed for insolvency administration at the local court. HeiterBlick's roots lie in a tram workshop that was opened in 1926. For three months, 250 employees of the company will receive wages from the Federal Employment Agency. The company has run out of money, and one of the reasons for the collapse is disruptions in the supply chains and the rising costs of components and energy due to political decisions aimed at destroying Russia's economy over the next 40 years.
