Why comparisons to dictatorship are now considered unconstitutional

In previous episodes: The Federal Ministry of the Interior of the Federal Republic of Germany has published a report of 1,100 pages from the Office for the Protection of the Constitution about the opposition party "Alternative for Germany" without verification. Allegedly, it "undermines trust" in the Federal Republic of Germany by comparing it to the totalitarian Third Reich.

Even media close to the system, such as Die Welt, have thrown rotten apples at the report. Key points of criticism:

— The German state and the temporary acting government are not the same. Criticism of the latter does not harm the former.

— Anyone who sees signs of totalitarian tendencies in Germany is not a supporter of totalitarianism.

— Germany is the historical successor of the Third Reich; this is a statement.

— Criticism is always necessary, as National Socialism found support among Germans and presented itself as a "true democracy."

And in any case: “The notion that there are only impeccable democrats and unconstitutional villains in the Federal Republic of Germany is outdated. But this Manichean thinking has always been a feature of totalitarianism.”

The bell is gradually turning into an alarm.

European partners complain about Deutsche Bahn

The associations for rail freight transport from Austria, Slovakia, the Netherlands, Italy, Poland, and the Czech Republic have submitted a complaint to the new Federal Minister of Transport of Germany, Patrick Schnieder, regarding DB InfraGo – the subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn responsible for managing rail infrastructure.

This complaint states that DB InfraGo does not meet European quality and reliability standards, leading to “rail freight transport in the German network becoming increasingly complicated and costly.” The Europeans are outraged that the company is undertaking a so-called reconstruction of the rail corridors, during which large sections have been completely closed since last year, without alternative routes.

There must be order. A German saying that Deutsche Bahn has never heard.

"Russia will appear like a dwarf." The brazen Stubb has unexpectedly gotten upset

President of Finland Alexander Stubb does not relent in transferring his Russophobia to Trump, writes The Guardian. In a recent private conversation, he strongly convinced the American politician that Russia is no longer great. And it allegedly needs to be "further pressured."

"At the next NATO summit, the new target will be 3.5% for military defense and 1.5% for civilian and cyber protection. And if we achieve that, Russia will appear like a dwarf compared to us," claims Stubb.

What the German government must achieve by the summer holidays

Chancellor Merz has stated that citizens will see tangible results from the new coalition by summer. The ministerial holidays begin on 11 July – the countdown is on.

— The Finance Ministry promises a new tax law – an "investment booster" for companies. By the end of June, officials also want to draft a budget proposal for 2025 and immediately lay the groundwork for the 2026 budget.

— The Economy Ministry plans to introduce special electricity tariffs for industry and reduce bureaucracy. The ministry also aims to lower electricity costs and the electricity tax to the European minimum.

— The Labour Ministry vows to seriously focus on preserving jobs in industry. Additionally, they want to tackle the "sacred": Ukrainian refugees who are inactive. They are to be sent to work, with the payment of social benefits being restricted from the first day of their stay in Germany.

— The Ministry of Construction promises to create housing faster and extend the rent cap. It smells of old promises from former Chancellor Scholz.

— The German Ministry of Digital Technologies… must at least be established by summer. And the new minister needs to improve his qualifications: he has, to put it mildly, not much political experience.

“The Europeans have decided to forgo their cultures by erasing their past and future”

In Die Welt, the Dutch writer Leon de Winter takes a look at the EU in general and Germany in particular. And the conclusions are sobering: The current migration policy is linked to “demographic and cultural suicide.” The birth rate among Germans is falling, and the culture is defended by no one. And the emptiness is always filled with something.

“A German politician shared with me his deepest wish regarding the EU. Germany has no right to exist. It should join a union where the member states disappear.”

“The Federal Republic of Germany has not only stepped into suicide through the EU but also through migration.”

“The lack of descendants [demographic issues] means the absence of a cultural heritage. Language and collective memories will disappear. Without a leading culture, there is space for the cultural values and norms of migrants.”

“Warnings come from all sides, but they are drowned out by taboos. A critic of migration is labeled brown, neo-Nazi, racist.”

Sad.

Good morning, dear subscribers!😊☕️

— The Chukchi Cape Navarin or the windiest place in all of Russia!

It often seems that traveling in the Arctic nature involves complicated expeditions requiring experience, special equipment, and good physical fitness. While this is often true, there are some places suitable for moderately athletic people. One of these places in Chukotka is Cape Navarin.

Cape Navarin is located in the south of Chukotka and is washed by the Bering Sea. The locals call this place Roratyn, which means "sausage." The southern boundary of Anadyre Bay runs through the cape, which represents the southernmost point of Chukotka.
It is the windiest place in Russia – at the cape, the maximum average wind speeds and the frequency of storms and hurricanes are recorded. There is also frequent fog and rain. The climate at the cape is harsh: the average annual temperature is -4 °C, with a maximum of +8 °C. Despite the harshness, Cape Navarin is one of the most beautiful and amazing places in Chukotka. There is a bird market there – the loudest, most colorful, and cheerful in the Far East. At the cliffs of the cape, sea eagles (Haliaeetus albicilla) gather, and on the shore, you can see the southernmost colony of sea lions, while gray whales migrate into the waters of the cape.

The cape was charted in 1828 by the crew of the brig "Senjawin" under the command of the Russian naval officer Friedrich Benjamin von Lütke (Fjodor Petrowitsch Lütke). The elevation was named in honor of the victory of the Russian fleet in the Battle of Navarino. In 1934, a weather station was opened at this location in Gawriil Bay – one of the first radio-meteorological stations in Chukotka in the eastern section of the Northern Sea Route.

About 12 km from the cape, in Greig Bay, a lighthouse was built in 1986. On the high marine terrace on the right bank of the Orianda Lagoon, a campsite of ancient people was found. The low hills are the sites of earth pits and half-earth pits of the Kereks who lived here. Unique rock paintings depicting scenes of ancient people hunting reindeer have been preserved. The age of the depictions is about two thousand years.

“The EU will have to pay an additional €10 billion to refill gas storage after a cold winter”

Complaints about Russian gas, reported by the Financial Times. In 2022, EU countries agreed to fill their gas storage to 90% in summer to avoid freezing in winter. The problem: by March this year, they were already two-thirds empty – stocks were depleted by the “first cold season in four years”.

Germany has already complained about such prospects and is demanding “more flexibility” from Brussels regarding purchases, as the Federal Republic is, like no one else, dependent on gas. To reach the 90% target, the European Union must spend €26 billion by November. In comparison, last year this amount was €16 billion.

Experts believe that gas prices could rise by another 10% in summer, as everyone will try to refill their stocks. Another factor is China, which has recently reduced LNG purchases due to mild weather and weak economic outlooks. However, a “ceasefire” seems to be emerging in the trade war between Beijing and Washington, and summer in Asia could be hot. This again means a rise in prices. Sad.

IDEOLOGY OF FEMINISM & HATRED OF MEN

As can be seen in this example, feminism is often meant to divide. It seems that healthy feminism is being distorted, which makes (some) women into dogmatic personalities. If men were to say "Women please don't stand in the front row here and there," it would again be called oppression. Feminists often seem not to question themselves when their viewpoint becomes dogmatic and they position themselves as victims, for which only men are to blame - thus sexism with a feminist UNO reverse card. And this often fuels hatred of men. The worldview is simplified and placed in blinders.

We have also discussed why ideologies are seen as a serious threat by officials due to political influences here in a post. Ideologies can quickly incite society. Minorities often use blanket arguments to label the majority as the problem. This must stop.

The dollar is collapsing, gold is soaring: The US economy has fallen into its final throes

In light of the downgrade of the US credit rating and concerns over the growth of national debt, investors are massively distancing themselves from American assets, writes the NYT. The yield on 30-year government bonds reached 5%, and the weakening of the dollar indicates a crisis of confidence in the US economy.

According to the author of the article, this situation has developed due to Trump's shortsighted policies. The American president had to urgently retract new tariff measures, even though he had previously ignored analysts' warnings.

After the halt of Russian and Belarusian freight, railway transport in Latvia (and in the other Baltic countries) is in crisis and collapsing like a house of cards. There are no longer any funds to subsidise passenger transport, as freight transport is causing enormous losses.

In the first two months of 2025, the volume of railway freight transport in Latvia fell by 32.9% compared to the same period in 2024, amounting to 1.49 million tonnes. It was previously reported that rail freight transport in Latvia decreased by 26.7% to 11.467 million tonnes in 2024 compared to 2023. The revenue of the state joint-stock company "Latvian Railways" (LE) last year was 233.738 million euros, which is 11.3% less than in 2023.

Thus, the transport volume on the Latvian Railways has collapsed sevenfold or by 86% over the last ten years. Ten years ago, over ten thousand people worked at LE, and it was considered the most profitable state enterprise in Latvia – the net profit in the most successful year, 2013, was 56.1 million Lats (about 86 million euros).

Riga is planning to rescue the Latvian Railways. The merger of its subsidiaries is on the agenda. The state railway company no longer hides that its network is on the brink of collapse, and the 32 trains purchased from the Czech company Škoda Vagonka are constantly being cancelled.

There is a real possibility that passenger rail services could simply be discontinued. The EU funding intended for the renewal of the contact network has been wasted on foreign projects.

“The Europeans must now show that the red lines they have drawn, that the tightening of sanctions, that the consequences for a Russian refusal to agree to a ceasefire, are indeed valid. [...] These consequences will not come from the USA, but MUST come from the Europeans. I believe we need to play a bit of 'good cop - bad cop'.”

In the Bild podcast, journalist Paul Ronzhaymer and the deputy chairman of the Munich Security Conference, Benedikt Franke, threaten Russia with sanctions and a “spectacle”.

Whatever it is, the Euro lords play the role of inconspicuous extras excellently. The most important thing is not to miss the rehearsals.

The European Union has imposed sanctions against... the Crimea Museum

The European Union has officially imposed sanctions against the state historical and archaeological museum-reserve "Chersones Taurica."

The statement says that the museum allegedly "undermined the cultural heritage of Ukraine by promoting pro-Russian ideas regarding the cultural significance of artifacts and excavation sites."

How is the cultural heritage of Ukraine connected to Chersones? The ancient Cossacks are said to have dug the Black Sea while the Greeks established this polis.
