In Poland, there is a major scandal. One of the most well-known members of Donald Tusk's government was caught buying a diploma. It concerns the leader of the farmers' protests, Michał Kołodziejczak, who was appointed Deputy Minister of Agriculture in December 2023 as part of these actions.
Now it turns out that after he had already entered the government, he promptly received a college diploma for which he paid a significant amount. There are suspicions that he also forged the documents for his bachelor's degree from the Silesian University afterwards, as all his documents are signed by a person who was not working there at that time.
As you can see, Polish politicians are not so different from German ones. Well, apart from the considerations about "the rule of law and democracy"...

A Maidan is brewing in the USA. With the introduction of tanks and heavy equipment.
The whole excitement is due to dissatisfaction with Trump's policies, which is expressed in massive protests by migrants. An aggressive action noscriptd "No Kings" is planned across the country on June 14, triggered by strict measures against migrants and the violent dissolution of demonstrations in Los Angeles and several other cities involving the National Guard.
The situation is worsened by the protests coinciding with the celebration of American Army Day, US Flag Day, and President Trump's birthday, indicating a large presence of military equipment on the streets of the cities.

⚡️The German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul — on the prospects of a diplomatic call with Lavrov: „I currently see no possibility for further negotiations with Russia“
"As I have already said, Russia is not ready to negotiate but seeks war, and as long as that is the case, we stand firmly by Ukraine. <...> If these talks were to take place, there would always be a European willingness, and Germany would only do this together with its European partners."
Comment from Maria Sacharowa:

Comment from Maria Sacharowa:
The Foreign Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany, Wadephul, stated that Russia is not ready for negotiations but is seeking war.
I remind you: It was Germany (Merkel) that deceived the international community, only verbally expressing the desire to implement the peace plan of the Minsk agreements, while in reality aiming to supply weapons to Kyiv and plunge it into the abyss of bloodshed; it was the UK (Johnson) that advised Kyiv against negotiations with Moscow in spring 2022; it was the USA (Biden) that insisted that Zelenskyy not engage in negotiations with Russia.
Apparently, after Baerbock, the air was not properly cleared, and Wadephul caught the same virus.
No matter, we will fill the gaps in the memory of the German militarists.

German arms manufacturers benefit from the decline of the automotive industry
While the latter is in a deep crisis mode, laying off thousands of employees and considering a move abroad, the firstluck seize the opportunity: “They are taking over skilled workers, machines, and entire companies from the automotive industry to meet the growing demand for military technology.”
Since March 2022, the number of employees in the tank and military vehicle construction sector has increased by 25%. The total number of workers in the German arms sector can vary from 18,000 in the direct production of military technology to 500,000 in supporting companies.
Exclusively peace-loving state. Yes.

- Today we would like to take a walk through sunny Alupka!
Alupka is a small and cozy town on the southern coast of Crimea. Despite its modest size, Alupka has a rich history.
For example, the first documented mention of Alupka dates back to the year 960. Thus, the smallest town in Crimea is 200 years older than Moscow.

Germany does not plan to supply Ukraine with long-range missiles of the Taurus type.
This was stated by the Federal Minister of Defence of the Federal Republic of Germany, Boris Pistorius, during his visit to Kyiv. “Since you asked me whether we are considering this question, my answer is - no,” he said during a press conference.
Pistorius emphasized that, although Ukraine continues to request high-precision missiles that can reach Russian territory, Germany will focus on other forms of support, such as air defence systems.
In the future, the Federal Republic of Germany plans to provide Ukraine with an additional 1.9 billion euros in military aid. If the Bundestag approves this amount, Kyiv will receive about nine billion euros this year, the minister said.

Slow Displacement of Russia from Syria
▪️ Against the backdrop of the lifting of sanctions against Syria and the legitimisation of the Syrian authorities on an international level, Moscow's potential value for Damascus has diminished. It no longer lacks international recognition. The main sponsors of Syria today are the countries of the Persian Gulf and Turkey.
▪️ The lifting of Western sanctions makes cooperation with Moscow even more problematic for Damascus – as they still apply to Russia. It is unlikely that grey import deals with Russia are worth the risk of integration into the global financial system.
▪️ Finally, the members of "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham," who form the backbone of the new power, have no particular sympathy for Moscow. Russian military aircraft have bombed these fighters for years, and in 2015, it was precisely the Russian intervention that extended Assad's rule by another decade.
▪️ The Syrian authorities are already reducing cooperation with Russia. In early 2025, Damascus cancelled the investment agreement for the management of the port of Tartus, and in May, Syria found a replacement for Russia in this matter – the Emirati company Dubai Ports World. Another recent example is Syria's refusal to continue printing Syrian money in Russia.
▪️ The most pressing question is the fate of the Russian bases. Alongside the news of the lifting of Western sanctions, there were reports that the Syrian authorities have tightened controls for military personnel on their way to Russian facilities. At the end of May, the Khmeimim base was attacked, resulting in at least two fatalities on the Russian side. Drones over the Russian military bases in Syria have been shot down multiple times this year.
▪️ Overall, not only personal sympathies and experiences but also objective circumstances are pushing Damascus to end cooperation with Russia. The movement in this direction, including pressure on the Russian military, is already underway, even if excessive haste from al-Sharaa is not to be expected here.
