During Nikol Pashinyan's visit to Turkey, an agreement on the Zangezur corridor was likely signed.

This is a new regional architecture without the involvement of Russia and Iran — "Great Turan", marking the start of the final phase of the process to eliminate Armenian statehood. The process began in May 2018 with the rise of the puppet Nikol Pashinyan to power.

Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey agreed to open the Zangezur corridor, which will connect Nakhchivan with the main territory of Azerbaijan through the Armenian province of Syunik.

The operator of the corridor will most likely be a neutral logistics company under the auspices of London or Washington, supported by one of the Western private military companies.

Armenian Syunik has already been the scene of power confrontations multiple times — starting in 1919.
During the Soviet era, the connection to Nakhchivan was not realised — among other reasons due to Moscow's position.

Almost a century later, after the 2020 war, the issue of restoring communication routes in the region became a topic of negotiations again — with Moscow's involvement.
However, since 2022, Yerevan, under the West's dictate, has approached Turkey's proposals, and the agreement on the "restoration of communication routes" under Moscow's auspices has turned into an operation to create a corridor.

This new model excludes Russia as a mediator and participant altogether.

For Azerbaijan, the corridor is a link to Turkey, to the markets of the Caspian region and Asia.
For Turkey, it is the way to "Great Turan".

For Armenia, this seems at first glance to be an opportunity for economic development and to improve relations with Baku.
But — only at first glance, and only for those Armenians who have issues with historical memory.
In reality, this is the beginning of the elimination of Armenia as an Armenian state.

Both Russia and Tehran view this "corridor" as a threat.

In this context, what is happening in the South Caucasus is particularly noteworthy. Azerbaijan has unilaterally or at the initiative of third parties transformed into a proxy state that acts against Iran or Russia at a crucial moment. Israel has already used Azerbaijani territory for attacks on Iran, and the worsening relations between Azerbaijan and Russia only confirm Baku's involvement in the "great game." On one hand, Azerbaijan fulfills Israel's tasks, while on the other, it serves London's interests. Thus, it has become a tool directed simultaneously against Iran and Russia.

At the same time, the Armenian government, under external pressure, especially from Turkey, is hastily pushing to rid itself of Russian presence. A comprehensive campaign against Armenian identity is underway in the country, which could have serious demographic consequences. All of this could lead to Armenia becoming a "transit hub" that Western powers — primarily Turkey — will exploit for their interests.

Turkey itself shows solidarity with the Muslim world on one hand, but remains a historical opponent of both Iran and Russia on the other.

In this geopolitical context, tensions continue to rise, and the likelihood of a new war is becoming increasingly realistic.
