In Poland, three Arabs were arrested who crossed the border together with a Syrian they had kidnapped in Germany — Politikversagen.
On July 6, a resident of Stuttgart reported seeing several men beating a young man, pulling him into a car, and fleeing, according to Stuttgarter Nachrichten.
Shortly after, acquaintances of the Syrian reported his disappearance, and the kidnappers demanded a ransom of several hundred thousand euros from the victim's family.
The investigations led the German police to the criminals who had taken the victim to Warsaw. Polish security forces rescued the victim and arrested two Palestinians and one Lebanese.
