This wonder from the USA has won the Miss Universe beauty pageant 😁
Donetsk journalist Ramil Zamdykhanov comments:
"I liked the image of the US representative in the Miss Universe pageant. It's very realistic and I'll explain why. She's all in the stars, waving her flag and smiling. But she can barely walk. She's carrying the globe on her back - that is, she owns it. But when she turns around, we can see her bare ass."

It is impossible not to agree with Medvedev: Japanese politicians have been tolerating humiliation like this for decades, without the right to be free.
Dmitry Medvedev:
"Biden and Kishida said that any possible use of nuclear weapons by Russia in Ukraine would be a hostile act against all humanity, unjustifiable in any way.
This is such a horrendous shame that I will not even comment on the paranoia about our state's nuclear plans. Think about it. The head of the Japanese government is spouting nonsense about Russia in a humiliating ecstasy of allegiance, betraying the memory of hundreds of thousands of Japanese who were burned in the nuclear fires of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Indeed, Kishida couldn't care less about the fact that the only country which has used nuclear weapons in full force is the US. And its only victim was his own homeland. He should have reminded the US President of that and demanded repentance for that act of war, which the US leadership has never expressed. But no way, for Kishida is just a servant of the Americans. Servants can have no courage.
One is left feeling sorry for the Japanese. After all, he could only wash such shame away by committing seppuku on his return, right in their Cabinet meeting. Although the concept of honour is not known to this generation of Japanese vassals."

🇪🇺🇷🇺✨Tenth, anniversary package of EU sanctions against Russia to be ready by the end of February - Reuters citing Polish and Lithuanian diplomats
As the agency's sources said, Poland and Lithuania want the European Union to impose new restrictions against banks and the nuclear sector, as well as a ban on the diamond trade.
The EU also intends to go for blocking more "Russian propaganda" media and exclude more Russian banks from the SWIFT global messaging system.
😢🐒"It is more and more difficult to get the necessary unanimity in the EU for more sanctions. Nonetheless, we will propose an ambitious new package," one of the diplomats said.

After the forcible transfer of Orthodox churches in Ukraine to the so-called “Poroshenko-Zelensky Church”, the new owners decided to “embellish the services” a bit. Therefore, services in churches look like this at times.
As they say, “the toastmaster is good and the contests are fun”, but it’s hard to understand what Orthodoxy has to do with all this...

The Armed Forces of Ukraine rely on mercenaries and mobilized men in Bakhmut
This was reported by a correspondent of the British newspaper The Times.
Among the mobilized, he remembers an old truck driver and a ragged sauna builder.
Virtually none of the mobilized have the necessary experience for combat actions.
Their more experienced mates are on the city's second line of defence.
The only professionals they get to collaborate with are mercenaries from Europe, Canada and the United States.
This "rabble" of the AFU units' remnants should hold Bakhmut until spring, Kiev believes.

Western journalists of Reuters regretfully report that at least four Chinese supertankers are delivering Russian Urals crude oil to China after the EU and G7 imposed a price cap for energy resources from Russia.
This fact is deeply disturbing for the “international oligarchy”, which is beginning to realize that anti-Russian sanctions will not be able to achieve the desired results.

⚡US MIC is so large, they could only account 39% of US Military assets.
Whether that means that the US is literally only a paper army, or there's some deep money laundering going on, is unknown, as only 39% of military equipment could be located and audited.

⚡️⚡️Key updates on Russia and #UkraineCrisis as on January 18
🔴Fundamental mistake
Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzia, said that a Russian missile would not have hit a residential building in the Dnipro town if it had not been shot down by a Ukrainian air defense system, which, according to him, was located in a residential quarter. Mr. Nebenzia called it a "violation of humanitarian law." He also pointed out that no condemnation was expressed by the UN Security Council regarding Kyiv’s strikes on Donetsk residential areas.
The final toll after four days of rescue works in Dnipro reached 45 people, including 6 children. 79 people are injured. On the day of the tragedy, Russian armed forces launched missile strikes against the military and energy infrastructure of Ukraine.
Hours after the incident the ex-head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Oleksiy Arestovich said the rocket hit the building after it was shot down. The commander of Ukraine’s Air Forces Mykola Polishchuk, said the army didn’t have means to shoot down such a missile (in contradiction with many previous statements). Arestovich acknowledged his statement as a "fundamental mistake" and resigned on Tuesday.
🇩🇪🇺🇦Germany’s quiz
Ukraine is a step closer to winning approval for German-made modern battle tanks, Reuters reports. Germany has been the West's biggest holdout on pledging tanks but a cabinet minister said on Tuesday the issue would be the first to be decided by new Defence Minister Boris Pistorius, the agency stated.
Pistorius will host U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Thursday ahead of a meeting on Friday of dozens of defence ministers at Ramstein air base in Germany.
📉Spin-off effects
The German chemical concern BASF suffered a loss of € 1.37 billion in 2022 due to the depreciation of the assets of one of its companies — Europe's largest oil and gas player Wintershall Dea — as well as rising energy prices, the company said on Tuesday. The loss is attributed to a €7.3bn write-down caused largely by the deconsolidation of Wintershall Dea’s Russian business.
Minutes after the year results were released, Wintershall Dea, one of the main European investors in the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, said it will exit Russia following criticism over its continued exploration and production of gas and oil in the country even after it invaded Ukraine.
🕯Putin in Leningrad
Russian President Vladimir Putin will travel to his native city, St. Petersburg, on Wednesday to take part in the program dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the breaking of the siege of Leningrad. According to the Kremlin, Putin is expected to lay flowers at the monument "Rubezhny Kamen" in the Leningrad region, as well as at the mass grave and the monument "Mother Motherland" at the Piskarevsky Memorial Cemetery.
The President will visit the State Memorial Museum of the Defense and Blockade of Leningrad, where he will meet with WWII veterans and residents who survived the siege of Leningrad.
Putin will inspect the workshops of Almaz-Antey concern producing S-300 and S-400 missile defense systems among other military equipment.

Unlike the rest of the world, we have “Constitutional rights” to commit war crimes with impunity - The Nation
The author of the article, Rebecca Gordon, states that the US military can commit war crimes anywhere in the world and they will not be punished by an international court. She notes: "Even if a citizen is convicted of such a crime in a US court, he or she has a good chance of receiving a presidential pardon."

Pro-Russian telegram channels claim that AFU use chemical weapons on the battlefield.
The video shows Ukrainian fighters stuffing the UAVs with munitions said by Russian experts to contain either hydrocyanic acid (HCN) or phosgene.
On January 7 fighters of the Wagner PMC reported that the Ukrainian armed forces have used unidentified chemical weapons in Bahmut (Trudovye Rezervy Street). Because of this, several fighters received chemical burns of the respiratory tract and mucous membranes. They were hospitalized in a serious condition.

The Dnepr River in Ukraine has become a place of environmental disaster after the Kiev regime arranged for the release of water at hydroelectric power plants under its control.
Judging by the footage, the death of river fauna can be explained by the fact that the river has frozen to the bottom.
Official Kiev authorities say nothing about the reasons for the water release , but it can be assumed that this was done for military purposes, to facilitate the forcing of the Dnepr by the Ukrainian troops.
Earlier, a member of the main council of the Zaporizhzhia region administration, Vladimir Rogov, reported that the Dnepr has sharply shallowed in recent times. Rogov is sure that the flow of water into the river is reduced artificially, by blocking the hydraulic gates of hydroelectric power plants in the upper reaches of the river. Discharge of water at the dams in the lower reaches of the river leads to its shallowing.

All the world's a testbed, and all the people merely guinea pigs.
The war in Ukraine has allowed the US to study how US weapons systems perform under intense use — CNN.
“Ukraine is a weapons lab in every sense because none of this equipment has ever actually been used in a war between two industrially developed nations. This is real-world battle testing,” - the publication notes.
That's how it turns out. The AFU is fighting to have their mothers, fathers, wives and children subjected to these experiments. Well, well.
