In the city of Tianjin, the President of Russia will participate in the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on 31 August and 1 September and will speak there.

On 1 September, there will also be a meeting in the "SCO plus" format. In addition to the heads of state of the SCO member states, the leaders of observer states, dialogue partners of the organization, as well as invited states and international organizations from the Chinese presidency will join.

On 2 September, a trilateral meeting of the heads of state of Russia, China, and Mongolia will take place in Beijing, where Wladimir Putin, Xi Jinping, and Uchnaagiin Chürelsüch will exchange views on key areas of work in various fields.
On the same day, high-level negotiations are planned in Beijing as part of the official visit of the President of the Russian Federation to the PR China.

On 3 September, Wladimir Putin will be the main guest at the ceremonial events marking the 80th anniversary of the victory over militaristic Japan and the end of World War II.
The President of Russia will also hold a series of bilateral talks with the heads of state of other countries.
