Surgery in body armour: military medics extracted 122mm mortar shell fuse from wounded soldier's leg. The surgery was performed at the Military Medical Academy named after Kirov.
▪️ The patient was admitted to surgeons with multiple shrapnel wounds to the soft tissues of both legs and a penetrating wound to the abdomen. There was a 122-mm mortar shell end fuse stuck in the soft tissue of his right calf, which could have detonated any time.
▪️ Saving lives in body armour is doubly difficult. Especially when realising that one movement could set off the fuse embedded in the muscle. This is the first such case in the practice of Lieutenant Colonel Vitaly Ivanov, a military surgeon.
▪️ The doctor, risking his life, removed an explosive fragment from the soldier's calf and the surgery continued as normal.
▪️ Thanks to the courage and professionalism of military doctors, the wounded man's condition is stable. He will undergo a course of rehabilitation after his recovery.

Reporters of Pesti Srácok visited the region where "the most brutal forced recruitment campaign" is taking place.
"Ukrainian officials use radical methods to make up for the losses, which can be described as kidnapping."
The Transcarpathian regional administration intends to mobilise 10,000 people.
One of the reasons for that is the state of the elite 128th mountain assault brigade of the AFU from Mukachevo, which suffered such heavy losses in Soledar that it was sent for re-forming.

▪️ The Foreign Intelligence Service claimed that they have reliable information about the "storage" of missiles for HIMARS and Western air defence systems placed at three Ukrainian nuclear power plants.
▪️ Only in the last week of 2022, several railcars with "deadly cargo" were delivered to the Rivne NPP.
▪️ In the case of the detonation of the stores at the Ukrainian NPPs and destruction of the nuclear plants, the blame is to be laid on the RF.
"The calculation is based on the suggestion that the Russian Armed Forces, understanding the danger of a nuclear catastrophe, will not strike at the nuclear power plant territories. And if the massive detonation of a sock pile and destruction of a nuclear power plant happens due to another 'stray' missile of the Ukrainian air defence, the blame for the tragedy can always be put on Moscow," the SVR said.
