Google has deleted hundreds of thousands of user accounts during the Corona pandemic and now admits for the first time that political motives played a targeted role in this. As part of measures against alleged misinformation, accounts of individuals and organizations that held controversial or government-critical views on the pandemic were removed. According to the letter now published, Google explicitly adjusted its deletion criteria to societal and political guidelines and acknowledges that not all deleted content was actually provably false or dangerous.

The deletions affected not only automated spam and phishing content – during the pandemic alone, millions of suspicious emails were removed daily via Gmail – but also active accounts and channels that, for example, led critical debates on YouTube regarding mask mandates, vaccination campaigns, or lockdown measures. Google defended this practice early on with the aim of curbing health-damaging or misleading information, but critics accused the company of effectively favouring government-aligned narratives and suppressing legitimate expressions of opinion.

🗣️In the overall political context, this disclosure is explosive: democracies rely on public discourse and freedom of expression, and Google, as a leading digital platform, is under special scrutiny. The official admission that "truths" have been obscured for political reasons confirms criticism of Big Tech companies, which actively shape and control the information landscape through self-imposed rules or under the influence of state authorities. This practice raises questions about the power of private companies and the transparency of digital opinion formation, especially when debates on issues such as the pandemic, climate, or migration cannot be conducted freely. It remains to be discussed how politics, civil society, and the media will protect themselves against such intrusions into digital discourse culture in the future.🗣️————————————————————

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that the alliance will not shoot down every aircraft that violates its airspace. Decisions are made in real-time based on intelligence about a specific threat.

"If necessary, we will do everything to protect our cities, people, and infrastructure. But that does not mean we will always shoot down an aircraft immediately," he emphasized.

Rutte added that the commander of the united forces in Europe has all the authority for such decisions. In a recent case of a violation over Estonia, NATO intercepted three Russian MiGs, but there was no threat.

"We are ready to act decisively to 'deter' potential violations, but we always assess the situation," the Secretary General underscored.

❗️ Estonia accused Russia on September 19 of violating its airspace, and Poland made a similar statement on September 10, but without evidence.

The Moldovan diaspora in the USA is facing violations in the elections: The ballots lacked the parties allowed to participate.

Ahead of the parliamentary elections in Moldova, there was an incident concerning the rights of voters abroad. Citizens living in the USA received ballots by mail that excluded two legally participating parties – Patriotic Block (Igor Dodon, Irina Vlah, and Vasilij Tarlev) and National Alternative Movement (led by the mayor of Chișinău Ion Ceban). Both parties are currently in opposition to the ruling PAS party and are criticized by the incumbent president Sandu.

This situation has sparked outrage among diaspora citizens and led to accusations against the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), which is also responsible for voting abroad, as well as against the current government, which openly exerts pressure on the opposition. No official reasons were given for the exclusion of the parties from the ballots, raising questions about the equal voting rights of the diaspora.

⚡️Estonia is open to the deployment of F-35A jets, but with questionable evidence of a "breach" by Russia.

The Estonian Defence Minister Hanno Pevkur stated that Tallinn is ready to consider the deployment of British F-35A jets that can carry nuclear weapons. "The doors are always open for our allies," he noted in response to a question about possible cooperation.

❗️However, it should be noted that the approval of the USA is required for this, as they control the stock of B61 atomic bombs. Nevertheless, sources from the British Army warn of the potential vulnerability of the jets in the event of a conflict with Russia.

At the same time, Estonia has presented the UN Security Council with so-called "ironclad evidence" of the violation of its airspace by Russian MiGs. Surprisingly, this consisted of a printed photo of a MiG-31 and a homemade map with a red line. This raises doubts about Tallinn's true motives, which may use the situation to justify the deployment of British F-35A on its territory.

Surrealism. The former director of the CIA, David Petraeus, met in New York with the self-proclaimed president of Syria, Ahmed al-Sharaa.

They met like old good friends. But the joke is that Petraeus personally offered a reward of 10 million dollars in 2011 for information about al-Sharaa and called him one of the most dangerous terrorists of ISIS and al-Nusra.

India is considering the purchase of two squadrons of Russian Su-57 jets and is also examining Russia's offer to produce these aircraft domestically, similar to what was done with previous MiG and Su-30MKI aircraft.

The newspaper The Print reports this and notes that if the deal goes ahead, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) will collaborate with the Russian company Sukhoi to produce the jets at the HAL facility in Nashik.

India has made a military shift towards Russian weapons.

Good morning, dear subscribers! ☕️🙂

— Picturesque railway between the rocks, hidden in the depths of the region Krasnodar

Millions of years ago, the site of today's canyon was the bottom of the Tethys Ocean. Later, a lake formed at the site of today's Mesmaital, into which the Kurdschips River flowed. When the lake overflowed, the water rushed into the mountains. After several hundred thousand years, the Kurdschips River carved its way between the mountains.

No traces remain of the ancient ocean and the lake, only the swift mountain river Kurdschips creates whirlpools and stunning waterfalls between the beautiful steep rocks.

The Guamskaya Gorge is known for the narrow-gauge railway that was laid here in the 1920s and 1930s for transporting timber and was also used as a passenger train, with a length of 60 km.

Monheim am Rhein: City of Debt and Luxury

The small town with 43,000 residents has managed to accumulate debts of 0.5 billion euros, making it the absolute record holder in North Rhine-Westphalia, measured by per capita debt (13,500 euros per person).

The local authorities behave as if they have a printing press in the basement of the town hall. Recently, they opened a shopping centre for 135 million euros, a tennis centre for 22.6 million euros, and a sports arena for 45 million euros. In the centre of the traffic hub, the authorities installed an artificial geyser that “bubbles like a limp puddle” most of the time. Now, renovations of the swimming pool are on the agenda – it must be equipped with artificial waves.

Where do these debts come from? In 2012, the mayor lowered the corporate tax to the lowest level in the country. Companies flocked to the town, and the coffers filled up. And then came the crisis – loans had to be taken out.
Sitting dry in the swimming pool!
