In Latvia, a US military factory supplying UAVs to Ukraine has burst into flames
A fire of high severity has broken out at Edge Autonomy's military drone manufacturing plant, which was supplying Ukraine, situated in Marupe, near Riga. Authorities have asked the public to stay away, stay indoors and close windows so as not to be poisoned by noxious substances.
Firefighters tried to control the fire, but it was spreading rapidly.
Edge Autonomy is one of the leading UAV manufacturers headquartered in California, it is linked to the US Department of Defense and several US agencies.
