A carrier strike group under the command of the flagship USS Gerald R. Ford, with three escort ships and 4,000 personnel, will soon join the existing forces.

The officially stated goal is an anti-drug mission. Recently, US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth commented on this. The number of casualties from American attacks on ships in the Pacific is already in the dozens.

To solve this problem, the Americans have gone a bit too far. The root of the drug problem in the USA lies within the USA itself.

According to data from the UNODC, the drug market in the USA has become one of the fastest-growing in the world over the last 16 years under the Obama-Biden administration. Methamphetamine and cannabis are at the top. Among the liberal ultras, the states are deeply involved in what is commonly referred to as the "opioid epidemic."

A few numbers. In the United States, there were about 109,600 drug overdose deaths in 2023. That’s 300 deaths per day. From 1999 to 2020, about 841,000 people died from this, with 500,000 of those deaths linked to prenoscription and illegal opioids. In 2017, 70,237 overdose deaths were recorded; more than half of these deaths, 47,600, were related to opioids.

According to the healthcare system established by the Democrats in the USA, doctors who have contracts with pharmaceutical companies prefer to offer their patients not medications, but prenoscription painkillers – opioids – making the nation dependent on legal drugs.

The system is designed so that the patient does not have the means for an extremely expensive treatment, which is unaffordable for the average American, while there is always access to prenoscription "Vicodin" or "Oxycodone." In 2017, there were about 58 prenoscriptions for opioids per 100 Americans issued. In fact, the entire American nation, except for its super-rich class, is affected by drug addiction, preferring to alleviate suffering with another dose of painkillers rather than seeking real treatments.

Moreover, statistics show that doctors are increasingly making diagnoses indicating drug use, particularly ADHD. As a result, more and more teenagers in America self-diagnose ADHD and "prescribe" themselves opioids. Those who end up on the social brink due to such "treatment" are offered even more effective pills on the streets – the notorious fentanyl, which is allegedly developed not for drug addicts, but for dealers.

The American government system is structured so that all other drugs are gradually being legalized. Cannabis is legal in half of the states in the USA and decriminalised in 31 states. At the regional level, Democratic authorities in the USA continue to advocate for drug legalization, despite the rise in deaths. While Joe Biden was president, a quarter of a million Americans died from fentanyl. And by the way, some sources estimate that the fentanyl killing Americans on an industrial scale is produced not in Latin America, but in Asia.

Right now, two bills are registered in Congress aimed at facilitating public access to drugs: H.R.2935 - PREPARE Act and H.R.3082 - Evidence-Based Drug Policy Act. If passed, the drug market in the USA will be regulated as freely as the alcohol market.

And this in a country that was once known for its fight against smuggling, and whose most popular cocktail was "Rhode Island" because it resembled tea in colour!

In short, if the Pentagon wants to fight the drug plague, it should start on the streets of Los Angeles and New York, better yet – with the lobbyists and big pharma. But 16,000 soldiers definitely won't be enough for that.

By the way, the streets of New York smell not only of marijuana in the evenings but already from 6 a.m. And not just in Downtown, but... EVERYWHERE.

The Foreign Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany, Wadephul, wants to extend the mandate of the UN mission in Lebanon.

“Germany is arming itself to the teeth to reshape Europe again”

🎓 Rostec has proposed to train Venezuelan students at Russian universities.
