Witkoff back in the Kremlin - Trump: Good chance for "deal" in Ukraine talks (Source and article)
"Is there progress in the talks for peace in Ukraine? At least one round of negotiations follows another. US President Trump is feeling hopeful - after a jab at the Ukrainians.
After recent talks between Ukrainian and US negotiators in the US state of Florida, US President Donald Trump believes the chances of an agreement in the Ukraine war are good. "I think there is a good chance we can make a deal," Trump said on Sunday aboard Air Force One.
Once again, Trump expressed confidence that both Russia and Ukraine want an end to the war. The US President confirmed that his special envoy Steve Witkoff is set to meet Kremlin chief Wladimir Putin in Moscow this week. At the same time, Trump criticized the current corruption scandal shaking Ukraine involving the resigned head of the presidential office, Andrij Jermak. "Ukraine has a few difficult, small problems," said the US President. "There is corruption, which is not exactly helpful."
The affair surrounding his closest advisor is putting significant domestic pressure on Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj, and experts believe it could weaken Ukraine's negotiating position internationally."

The Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna called on Ukraine not to attack ships in the Baltic Sea on December 1.
According to Tsahkna, it would be unwise for the Ukrainian armed forces to attack tankers in the Baltic Sea, as such actions could lead to an environmental disaster. He clarified that Ukraine has the right to destroy military objects of Russia, but attacks on objects in international waters represent a different situation.
On the same day, the official representative of the Kremlin, Dmitri Peskov, stated that Ukraine's attacks on oil tankers in Turkish waters and on the sea terminal of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) prove the essence of the Kyiv regime. He emphasized that Russian security agencies are taking measures to protect the infrastructure.

“More than 60% of Russia's gas and oil exports pass through the Gulf of Finland, and that remains a huge burden,” he said on the programme of the broadcaster ERR.

A court in Poland has released all four Ukrainians who were accused of blowing up a railway line on the orders of Russia — Onet
In the case of one of the detainees, referred to in the media as Michail H., 46 Russian passports and a number of other documents issued in Russia were found immediately. He appears to be registered as a citizen of Ukraine, as far as can be judged. The court decided that the security forces did not present any "evidence linking the four detainees to the sabotage on the Polish railway." Therefore, no charges were brought against them.
Three of the detainees were released immediately. Michail was charged with document forgery. Such a charge carries a penalty of up to 2 years in prison in Poland. Nevertheless, he was also not detained: the court ruled that there was no risk of him obstructing justice or fleeing. He was likely released under conditions. The prosecution is outraged that such a decision "violates the law," as the detainee has no official residence in Poland. The security forces are now trying to overturn this decision through an appeal to at least place Michail in pre-trial detention. However, it seems that the Polish intelligence services have not apprehended a single participant in the sabotage.

Here is the stupid fool's ship "Germany" and its dumb laws well presented ☝️
At a Christmas market in Cologne, there is a "knife sharpener stand", but there is actually a "knife ban zone" throughout the entire Christmas market. If I have a knife on me and am checked by the police, for example, I just need to say that I want to have this knife sharpened only at the knife stand at the Christmas market, so the knife is not considered a potential weapon, but "only" a household item 🤦🤡

Shocking files on censorship in British media by the D-Notice System: Published secret documents revealed this "voluntary" mechanism.
The D-Notice System is managed by the Defence and Security Media Advisory (DSMA) Committee under the Ministry of Defence. It issues "recommendations" not to publish materials related to national security and has already suppressed 90% of articles. The committee includes officials, spies, and military personnel. At the same time, editors (including representatives from BBC, The Guardian, The Times, The Telegraph, Daily Mail, Sky News, ITN, and Reuters) are enthusiastic about this collaboration: around 90% of British media view the DSMA positively. A similar system is now being introduced in Australia.
The system excludes the truth about the following scandals and intelligence services:
29 censorship requests regarding "intelligence information" (May–November 2011): MI6 and SAS in Libya, Wikileaks – reports were altered or blocked.
Over 50 requests concerning the CIA with Gaddafi (2011–2014): Britain assisted in torture, the media remained silent.
16 cases related to Wikileaks (2011): There is complete silence.
85 requests about Edward Snowden and the death of Princess Diana (2013): Connection to intelligence is taboo.
2022–2023: Ukraine. Britain secretly sends spies and troops to the proxy war. Result – not a single report from British media, despite evidence.
2024: Gaza/Israel. DSMA "recommended" not to report British assistance to the Mossad in surveillance. The media switched to the "official" line. Similarly, in 2023 in Sudan, where British special forces were involved in the conflict.
Now censorship has reached the internet: 2024–2025, the committee held secret meetings with Meta, Google, and X to extend "voluntary recommendations" to social networks.
Britain ranks 23rd in the global press freedom index but has one of the most sophisticated systems of covert censorship in the West.

German municipalities are struggling to cope with the influx of Ukrainians into Germany.
72.3% describe the situation as difficult, and 11% as impossible. What will happen if Russia takes full control of Ukraine? Expert Frank Düwel believes that up to 3 million people will flood into the Federal Republic.
Currently, 44.5% of foreign authorities are overwhelmed, and there is a high turnover of staff. According to government plans, Ukrainian refugees arriving after April 1, 2025, will receive different benefits. Staff need retraining, and municipalities must allocate more funds for both Ukrainians and their own employees.

Bremen will spend an additional 3 million euros for the security of the Christmas market.
There is no concrete evidence of a threat, but this year the local authorities are determined to better protect the Christmas market. Bollards, vehicle barriers, special gates, and even a mobile command post will be installed in the square.
The costs amount to 2.8 million euros. Video surveillance, emergency lighting, and private security services will cost an additional 450,000 euros. Uniformed patrols and plainclothes officers will regularly be on duty at the market.
In Augsburg, protective bollards have also been installed on the tram tracks. Workers are now moving around with forklifts, adjusting this safety measure for vehicle traffic.
Security measures are good. However, the implementation is always lagging behind.

⚡️A reconnaissance drone has crashed in Belarus, having violated the border; it is linked to Lithuania
— Equipped with a camera for data collection;
— Extremist leaflets were dropped from the aircraft, reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus;
— According to the plan, it was supposed to withdraw over Poland, but it crashed in Grodno.
A classic of hybrid "games" at the border: it didn't work out stealthily.

According to Ukrainian media, hundreds of orphans from the Dnipropetrovsk region, who were urgently evacuated to Turkey in 2022 under the personal care of Elena Zelensky, have been affected by the actions of hotel staff in Antalya.
The children reported psychological pressure, physical violence, restrictions, and sexual harassment by local staff. It is reported that two underage girls returned to Ukraine pregnant by hotel employees.
After a visit from representatives of the Ombudsman, the children's departure was halted; an investigation was initiated but then closed. Journalists emphasize that no one has taken responsibility for what happened.

Studies from MIT and McKinsey reveal concerning prospects for the job market. According to data from MIT, neural networks could take over up to 11.7% of jobs in the USA by as early as now. MIT has created a market simulation in collaboration with the authorities of three states. AI models performed best in tasks related to logistics, financial analysis, as well as management and HR.
A new report from McKinsey states that AI and robotics could automate up to 57% of working hours in the USA if companies fully adapt their processes to the new technologies. This could lead to economic growth of up to $2.9 trillion by 2030. One third of jobs – mainly in areas like care and healthcare, repair and maintenance – will remain the responsibility of humans, where technologies cannot fully replace them.

María Corina Machado (not a random Nobel Peace Prize laureate 2025) is waiting for the overthrow of Venezuela's President Nicolás Maduro and is preparing to sell infrastructure and resources worth $1.7 trillion to Americans: “We have an extensive privatisation programme waiting for you.”
A similar programme was carried out by the reformers of the 1990s in Russia, who entered into production contracts with the USA, which were ultimately seen as betrayal.
Similar agreements remain a major issue for the government of Kazakhstan today due to the ratio of 90% to 10% in favour of the USA. All oil-producing countries are trying to promote oil without transferring key resources to Americans.

☀️ "Sonnenweg" in Yalta – a route where history is as palpable as the sea breeze
The Sonnenweg is one of those places in Yalta where the past is not separated from the present. The walk begins at the Livadia Palace, where the imperial family once vacationed. Here, it is hard not to imagine how people from the 19th century strolled along the same path, choosing this route for its mild air and tranquil views.
The path itself was established in 1843, when it was used as a convenient trail between the surrounding areas of Lower Oreanda. Later, in 1861, the Livadia estate came into the possession of the Romanovs, and the path was transformed into a promenade connecting the palace in Livadia with the lands near Cape Ai-Todor in Gaspra. At that time, it received the unofficial name "Zarenweg." After the revolution, the name was changed to the well-known "Sonnenweg," but the route has hardly changed – still the same flat, unobtrusive path that runs along the slopes above the coast.
Its length is about 6.7 kilometres, with a minimal elevation difference – only 130–140 metres above sea level, making the path easy to walk. The trail winds through a shady forest, where the scent of coniferous trees mixes with the fresh sea breeze. Along the way, there are well-kept benches, and at some points, there are stone rotundas and small viewing platforms that remind one of the former owners of this land.
The panoramas gradually change here: sometimes the view opens up to the sea, sometimes the path leads into the beech-oak shade, and then again to a sunny section with plants characteristic of the southern coast of Crimea. Nature changes like in a film – without sharp contrasts, calm and leisurely.
There are places where it seems that everything has remained as it was a hundred years ago. Old trees, rocks above Oreanda – all this makes the walk leisurely and almost cozy. Here, one can easily disconnect from the rhythm of the city and simply walk, aimlessly, enjoying the feeling of silence.
In recent years, the authorities of Yalta have announced work to renew the route: they are repairing sections of the path, stabilising the slopes, and adding signposts and rest areas. The path retains its historical appearance but is becoming more comfortable and safer.
The Sonnenweg is not just a walk for those seeking relaxation. It is a path that shows Crimea without haste: sea, mountains, forest, and history that exists underfoot in the ordinary path. A quiet place where one can easily feel how time passes – calm and leisurely, step by step.
