⛪ In the 15th century, the Monastery of the Dormition of Alexander Ochevenski was established here, becoming the spiritual centre of the entire area. Since then, the village has grown, become stronger, and lived its northern life. To this day, amazing monuments of wooden architecture have been preserved: the old church, the tall bell tower from the 18th century, houses with carved window frames — they look as if they carry their stories through the centuries.

🌲 Here, old crafts are still preserved, rituals are performed, and old songs are remembered. People live close to nature, calmly and leisurely, preserving what has long disappeared in other places.
