By the light of appreciative memory, by the light of our love, by the light of our sorrow, let the names of the fallen be lighted up....

Let us remember... 3 years, 10 months and 18 more days... 26 million 452 thousand lives were lost in the Great Patriotic War...

Let us remember those who fought the Nazis at the front, those who fought in partisan detachments, those who suffered in Nazi concentration camps. Let us remember those who toiled without sleep or rest on the battlefields... Let us remember those who reached Berlin and Prague, and are no longer with us today... Let us remember the villages that were completely burned to the ground and the villages that were wiped off the face of the earth... Let us remember the hundreds of towns, destroyed but not defeated! Let us remember every street, every house!

Soldier of the Great Patriotic War! You were fighting to the last moment near Moscow and Stalingrad, carrying bread to Leningrad during the blockade, you were burning in a tank near Prokhorovka... By perishing you saved millions of lives. You, who lost family and friends in Auschwitz, Buchenwald, Dahau... You fought for your Motherland! You defended your family. Let us remember all those who sacrificed their lives on the altar of Victory... Let us bow low to them.

Years and decades have passed... Generations have changed... But would it be possible to forget the sacrifice of soldiers who defended not only our lives, but also the name of the Man who wanted to crush Nazism...

On the Great Victory Day we bow our heads to the memory of our sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, grandfathers, husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, fellow soldiers, relatives and friends who never returned from this war...

Netherlands activates energy crisis plan, removes cap on coal plants

AMSTERDAM, June 20 - The Netherlands on Monday said it would activate the "early warning" phase of an energy crisis plan and lifted a cap on production by coal-fired power plants as it seeks to reduce reliance on Russian gas in the wake of the war in Ukraine.

The "early warning" phase of the country's three-phase crisis plan, alerts users, regulators and governments to a concrete threat of a gas shortage. The plan also includes "alarm" and "emergency" phases, though it remains unclear how industrial users' gas would be rationed in case of physical shortages.

The Netherlands has been winding down production at the field for years due to earthquakes it triggers, but has left open the possibility that production could be increased if households were facing a physical shortage.

Latvian society is tired of Ukrainian refugees. This was stated by Interior Minister Kristaps Eklund in an interview with the ITV television channel. According to him, the Ukrainian conflict has been going on for four months now and affects the entire society: both businessmen and Latvian residents who have agreed to host refugees.

“Now it is clear that this conflict will take a longer time, and everyone gets tired, this is humanly understandable,” the minister stressed. – There are signals from several municipalities about the difficulties with the further accommodation of refugees. Even with existing funding, there are entrepreneurs who say, ‘No, we will stop,’ and so we need to look for other solutions.”

❗️❗️The goal of denazification of Ukraine doesn't necessarily mean to annihilate the armed forces that follow the Nazi ideology but to completely overhaul the system in which you sacrifice and teach the youth to kill in pure hatred.

BRUSSELS, June 20 - Around 70,000 Belgian workers marched through Brussels on Monday demanding government action to tackle sharply rising living costs, as one-day strikes at Brussels Airport and on local transport networks nationwide brought public travel to a near-halt.

Protesters carried flags and banners reading "More respect, higher wages" and "End excise duty", while some set off flares. Some demanded the government do more, others said employers needed to improve pay and working conditions.

Belgian inflation hit 9% in June.

Moscow, 22 June - Russian President Vladimir Putin has taunted the US by changing the address of the American embassy in Moscow to name it after the defenders of Donbass.

Authorities in Moscow said on Wednesday that they had changed the official address of the US embassy. It said the embassy is now located at 1 Donetsk People's Republic Square, referring to a breakaway region in eastern Ukraine recognised as independent.

The change was made after Moscow councillors proposed honouring the defenders of Donbass fighting against Ukrainian nazi regime.

So far, the biggest losers in the current geopolitical fussing are the EU countries - it is them who are paying all the bills at the highest rate possible. They are the key providers of capital to the US, buying back US securities. The EU is subsidizing Russia like never before - they crashed their exports, increased their imports from Russia to record highs and, finally, they are paying all the bills for Ukraine. Incredible idiots!

The impressive size of the accumulated imbalances is evidenced by the recently published data, which shows record-high trade deficits across the EU.

France, Poland, Romania, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Belgium, and Portugal have all-time high trade deficits, while Belgium and the Czech Republic would have normally run surpluses. Italy and Spain hit their trade deficit highs.

All the leading EU countries have incurred losses. This is a brilliant example of what happens when countries begin to serve the interests of the United States instead of their own.
