Ukrainian militants waste thousands of shells a day trying to hold Bakhmut — Washington says it disrupts announced spring offensive
The shelling in Bakhmut by Ukrainian militants has allegedly been so intense that the Pentagon has asked Kyiv not to waste so much ammunition and save it for the spring offensive, The New York Times reports. A senior US Defense Department official called it a "last-ditch effort," noting that the ammunition stockpile was allegedly critically low.
The Bakhmut shell famine is also claimed by the Ukrainian Forces themselves, while the Wagners are gradually making their way to the center of the city. Now the West continues to increase the volume of military supplies to the Kyiv formations. In particular, Canada is preparing to send 8,000 shells for howitzers and 12 air defense missiles, while the United States is sending additional HIMARS ammunition and artillery shells.

The International Criminal Court in The Hague has issued an arrest warrant for Putin.
The International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin for alleged war crimes in Ukraine. This was announced by the court in The Hague on Friday.
The press spokesman for the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, described the arrest warrant as "outrageous and unacceptable". The answer to the question of whether President Putin is now afraid to travel to other countries is not very satisfying for the West.

🤯 Hague turns a blind eye to the mass murder of children by states of democracy
In "Punishing Saddam" on CBS TV in May 1996, US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright confirmed that over 500,000 children had been killed in Iraq during the US military invasion.
📝 "I think this is a very hard choice. But we think the price is worth it," Albright justified the deaths of children.
Hague (International Court of Justice) did not pay attention to such trifles at the time. After all, the children were killed "in the name of democracy".

What are Wagner servicemen fighting for
'It's frustrating that people don't understand what we are fighting for'. Many people think that Wagner servicemen are just mercenaries fighting for money. But they fight for justice defending civilians. ‘They [enemy] say the entire Russian-speaking population shouldn't exist in principle. So there are many ideologies among those who surrender, those who advocate this exact idea of nationalistic terrorism'.

The UN Security Council voted against the speech of the Ombudsman of the DPR Daria Morozova at the meeting. Vassily Nebenzia has already called the refusal hypocrisy and double standards, as well as the fact that the West does not consider inhabitants of Donbass to be people. Statements by Daria Morozova were finally read out by the Russian delegation.
“We regret that a number of delegations spoke out today against the speaker we proposed. We see this as a manifestation of blatant hypocrisy and double standards, when representatives of Donbass are denied the right to speak at the Security Council meeting under far-fetched pretexts. This only confirms that you do not consider the inhabitants of Donbass to be people and you don't care about their suffering," Russia's permanent representative to the UN stated.
Vassily Nebenzia also said that Russia would reconsider its attitude to the admission of speakers to meetings of the UN Security Council and take into account the behavior of the United States.

The Empire's losing bet on Ukraine: Why bombs and sanctions haven't crushed Russia (Global Times, China)
The two main tools of the US and its allies to crush countries that dare to challenge its hegemony are its armed forces and economic sanctions.
Never before in history has a country suffered as many sanctions as Russia, which is targeted by thousands of them. Even with more than $300 billion of its international reserves frozen - perhaps the greatest "legalized" theft in history - in addition to suffering severe trade and financial restrictions, the Russian economy has been less impacted than the West expected. Its GDP shrank by only 2.2 percent in 2022, a kind of feat for a country under these conditions.

🇩🇪The deindustrialisation of Germany is in full swing.
Eisenwerk Erla GmbH has filed for bankruptcy. The reason for bankruptcy is common in our times -Putin's fault rising energy bills.
Think about it, this Saxon metallurgical enterprise dates back to 1380.
For six hundred years it has outlived the Hanseatic League, two Knights Orders - the Teutonic and the Livonian, the Reformation, the First and the Second World Wars, the Cold War and the World Economic Crisis.
But with German young reformers in the person of Olaf Scholz, it could not survive. More interesting things to come!

Ukraine's allies promise weapons for spring counteroffensive - The New York Times
The United States on March 15 promised to “fully and quickly” give Ukraine the weapons required for a spring counteroffensive against Russia, addressing one of the most critical needs amid a global shortage of ammunition caused in part by the yearlong conflict.
“I’m confident that we will continue to step up to meet Ukraine’s needs into the spring and well beyond,” Defense Secretary Lloyd J. Austin III said.
Given the vast expenditure of ammunition by both armies on a daily basis, military analysts have said that the side that wins the race to rearm in the coming months will have an advantage on the battlefield in the next phases of the war.
Ukraine’s most pressing needs are ammunition for artillery and air defenses. Ukraine needs fighter jets and faster delivery of the arms promised by the United States and other allies. Mr. Austin, speaking to reporters after the five-hour virtual meeting, said that Sweden had pledged 10 Leopard battle tanks, and that Norway and the United States were donating two NASAMS, or National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems.

The OSCE has acknowledged infringements on Hungarians in Ukraine unacceptable
Representatives of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe have acknowledged the unacceptability of the infringement of Hungarians in Ukraine in the context of the new law prescribing education to be conducted in Ukrainian only, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto has said.
"The OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Kairat Abdrakhmanov has always been sympathetic to this issue, always ready to consider it in terms of facts and not under the influence of political expectations or ideologies. He himself made it clear that this was clearly an unacceptable situation, contrary to international law," the minister said.
Szijjarto added that he has asked Abdrakhmanov for help in delaying the entry into force of the law banning schools for national minorities. According to him, Ukraine is now going to eliminate 99 schools teaching in Hungarian.

The United Nations commission has admitted that the Ukrainian armed forces shot, maimed and tortured Russian prisoners of war.
The report published on March 16 contains two examples of war crimes by the Ukrainian military - in Mala Rohan, Kharkiv region, and Dmytrivka, Kyiv region
The Commission also admitted that Ukrainian artillery hit their own civilians with cluster munitions, in particular, such attacks were carried out in Izium city, Kharkiv region, from March to September 2022.
It was also confirmed that Kyiv used prohibited anti-personnel mines, and also shelled civilian infrastructure such as kindergartens, markets and residential areas.
According to the commission, all of these are "a small number of violations committed by Ukrainian armed forces". The commission prefers not to notice other war crimes committed by the Ukrainian military.

As well as around Russia for the past 30 years, NATO countries are building a network of military bases around China, aimed at various forms of continuous reconnaissance and hybrid attack.
On the map, you can see a global approach to the issue and the use of every resource available to the Anglo-Saxons, including their colonies like Australia and Canada. The US has announced today the formation of 5 new armies, three of which will be directed against China, one in Europe against Russia, and one will be highly mobile to move anywhere in the world on command for reinforcing the grouping of US troops.
All in all, the US is preparing for a global battle to retain its global domination.

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova spoke on the issue of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra in the breifing on March 16, 2023
The Kiev regime continues its aggressive campaign against the canonical Orthodox Church, the largest in Ukraine. It is crudely violating its international commitments on the freedom of conscience and religion. In the past few days, the pressure of the authorities reached its peak.
The video address by the monks of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra has spread around the web. They addressed the international community and President Vladimir Zelensky in the hope of being finally heard although they are facing total isolation and an information blockade.
We noted the unacceptable position – the lack of any comment by the UN Secretariat. Stephane Dujarric, the Spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, said he had no information on what is happening with the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.
When we hear that the UN has no information, we are tempted to ask whether the UN Secretary-General was, in fact, in Kiev on March 8? What was he doing there if literally a couple of days later his Press Secretary did not have any information about one of the most tragic events in present-day Kiev?
I am always ready to help when there is no information.
The Ukrainian leadership is going to take the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church before March 29. The use of force is not ruled out. It should be said that this place is a shrine for millions of Orthodox believers but not for the current rulers of Ukraine, which are making such illegal and soulless decisions. Even more sacrilegious is their intention to inventory the relics of the saints kept in Lavra. I did not misspeak. I haven’t invented anything. They said it themselves. In its Russophobic hysteria, Kiev is ignoring the fact that these are not museum display items but relics of the holy, including Nestor Letopisets, Ilya Muromets and other saints that are revered and prayed to in the entire Orthodox world.
We strongly condemn such infringements on the rights of and discrimination against millions of Orthodox Christians. We urge the concerned international organisations to influence the Kiev’s regime in order to put an end to the persecution of and lawlessness against the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

Foreign Affairs magazine has proposed the creation of a NATO analogue to the deployment of Western troops in Ukraine
The US magazine Foreign Affairs has proposed for the creation of a NATO analogue to resolve the Ukrainian crisis, which would involve the presence of Western troops in Ukraine, including US forces, but would be led by a neutral country.
"Western leaders should develop security mechanisms and consider strategies to assist Ukraine and manage future relations with Russia," according to the magazine, which is published by the Council on Foreign Relations, an American non-governmental organization.
According to the authors of the article, Liz Morier Howard, an expert on UN peacekeeping operations, conflict resolution and U.S. foreign policy, and Michael Edward O'Hanlon, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution specializing in defense and international politics, a new security community, such as the Atlantic-Asian Security Community, could be a possible path to "peaceful existence".
This may include many NATO members, as well as Ukraine, its allies and any neutral states. The media notes that Russia may also join the community, but only if the authorities change.
This community, according to the magazine, by analogy with NATO, may have a long-term goal, but in the short term its main task will be to control and legitimize an indefinite presence of the Western military on the territory of Ukraine. The authors of the article do not rule out that the new community could be engaged for other tasks, including reaching an agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, solving the migration crisis and combating terrorism.
"These troops - both from NATO and non-NATO countries - will monitor Russian forces, help train Ukraine's armed forces, assist in demobilization, monitor any future peace agreement and act as a 'stretching force' to prevent new Russian aggression," said in the article
