Most of the remaining residents of the city of Lisichansk in the northwest of the LNR adhere to pro-Russian views and expect the arrival of the Russian army as their liberation.

This rather unexpected news was spread in a report by the TV channel France 24 which previously did not have a “pro-Russian” position at all, actively spreading fake Ukrainian propaganda.

French TV journalists, apparently to give their resource “objectivity”, decided to talk with residents of the city of Lisichansk (LPR), which is still under the control of Ukrainian troops.

They found that people, even risking their lives, refuse to evacuate from urban shelters at the request of the Ukrainian military and accuse them of shelling civilians.

Local residents generally refused to talk to the French, considering them allies of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Kyiv regime, and those who agreed openly said that they were waiting for the Russian army.

When asked why they were waiting for the Russians who were shelling the city, residents replied to astonished visitors that it was the Ukrainian army that was shooting at their homes, killing their children.

But then the fake Klitschko asked "what's our view on the fact that so many Ukrainians try to get their hands on social benefits in Berlin,” said Frerichs. “The man also voiced a request that we exercise our authority to encourage young men to go back to Ukraine and fight there.” The last topic was even more striking: “He asked if we could be the advisers to Kiev in its effort to organize a kind of CSD (Christopher Street Day, annual gay pride parades)” 😅

Later Andriy Melnyk, the Ukrainian ambassador to Germany, confirmed that Klitshcko had not spoken to Giffey 😕

Estonia’s PM says country would be ‘wiped from map’ under existing Nato plans

June 22 - Estonia would be wiped off the map and the historic centre of its capital city razed to the ground under current Nato plans to defend the country from any Russian attack, according to its prime minister.

Kaja Kallas told reporters on Wednesday that the alliance’s existing defence plans for the three Baltic states was to allow them to be overrun before liberating them after 180 days.

She added that she had spoken to foreign troops based in Estonia — largely those from the UK — and they had told her that, given the current plans mean they would be all but wiped out by a potential Russian invasion, “they are not fond of the idea that . . . they are supposed to die”.

U.S. to send $450 million in security aid to Ukraine in latest package

WASHINGTON, June 23 - The United States will provide an additional $450 million in security assistance to Ukraine, including more long-range rocket systems, U.S. officials said on Thursday.

In a statement, the Pentagon said the package would be valued at up to $450 million and include four additional High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS), 18 coastal and riverine patrol boats and thousands of rounds of ammunition.

Earlier on Thursday, Ukraine said it had received the first tranche of HIMARS, a powerful long-range weapon system that Kyiv hopes can help turn the tide in the months-long battle.

Moscow has warned it will strike targets in Ukraine which they "have not yet been hitting" if the West supplies longer-range missiles to Ukraine for use in high-precision mobile rocket systems.

Severodonetsk: Russia has full control of eastern city, Ukraine says

June 25 - "The Russians have fully occupied Severodonetsk, our military has retreated to more prepared positions," the mayor Oleksandr Stryuk told Ukrainian TV.

Taking the city means Russia now controls nearly all of Luhansk region and much of neighbouring Donetsk - the two regions that form the industrial Donbas.

Additionally, LPR forces allied with the Russian army have moved into parts of Lysychansk, the city facing Severodonetsk across the Siversky Donets river. But Ukrainian officials have not confirmed that.
