A delegation of politicians, businessmen and representatives of US charities led by former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has held a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The president did not provide details of the conversation, but described Pompeo's visit as "a powerful signal of bipartisan support for Ukrainians in the fight for democracy".

During the meeting, Zelensky invited US business to actively invest in Ukraine and develop business in the construction, agriculture, IT and other sectors.

He also noted the importance of continuing and enhancing defense assistance and joint development of defense technologies.

Politico earlier wrote about Pompeo's upcoming visit, attributing it to the possibility of expressing support for Ukraine as a potential candidate for the 2024 US election.

According to media reports, during his visit to Kiev, the former secretary of state called for the creation of a new European security architecture.

Briefly, about what's going on in Eastern European countries.

While Slovakia, Slovenia, and Croatia are joining the West's anti-Russian agenda, Bulgaria continues to resist.

▪️ Slovakia will increase munitions production "fivefold," the republic's defense minister, Imri Nagy, said earlier.

▪️ Slovenia seeks to participate in the alleged "post-war reconstruction" of the Kharkiv region, the country's Prime Minister Robert Golob said.

▪️In their turn, Croatian authorities announced the opening of two medical centers, where they plan to treat wounded Ukrainian servicemen.

▪️Against this background, elections in Bulgaria seem to be a ray of light, where the Renaissance Party may defeat the pro-Western governing coalition.

The movement is already the third strongest political force in the country.

The active campaign in support of the referendum against the introduction of the euro zone in the country contributed to the growth of support.

Russia uses up to 20 guided bombs a day in Ukraine

However, Kiev has nothing to respond to this so far, said Yuriy Ignat, spokesman of the Air Force of Ukraine.

"The enemy uses guided bombs that can fly dozens of kilometers. The enemy uses 10-15, up to 20 bombs a day along the entire border line, from Su-35, and Su-34 aircraft, which are not within the range of our air defense, and this is a threat for us, to which we need to respond promptly," he stressed.

According to Ignat, only Patriot-level air defense systems and modern multipurpose fighters can help Kiev against aircraft using guided bombs.

Earlier we wrote about the fact that the Russian Air Force strikes on objects of the AFU using the latest high-precision planning bombs UPAB-1500B.

Yaakov Kedmi on how the winner in a nuclear war will be determined

If it is a nuclear war, the first thing to do is to destroy the enemy's ability to launch a strategic strike. How many strategic targets do the Americans have in total? 600 targets, that's all. Of these, 500 require nuclear weapons, the rest can be destroyed with conventional weapons. Missile silos - a nuclear weapon is necessary for each of them. [Are we going towards a nuclear war?] The army is getting ready. Both of them. And the political leadership will act in accordance with their readiness. The armies are preparing to deliver a first strike as effectively as possible. And also, to withstand an enemy strike. And that will largely depend on the extent of damage to their nuclear strategic attack system.

The Americans' most serious weapon is land-based missiles. 480 silos, 5% ready to launch within five minutes. The second thing serious countries like Russia and the US have is what Russia calls Perimeter. The system of automatically proceeding with military action if the commander-in-chief is neutralised. The same thing the Americans have. So an attempt to neutralise the commander-in-chief won't affect anything, the strategic forces will still work. The operational and tactical weapons will be of little importance, they were prepared for a different warfare.

If they decide not to go into a strategic confrontation, limiting it to operational and tactical - the weapons are there, but I don't see any chance of that happening. The Americans would be ready to go for it as it would not affect their territory and population, just like in every previous war. But Russia has said for a long time - no matter where or what hostilities begin, the first strike will be against the US. And it has to bring absolute strategic superiority, that is, neutralize 480 missile facilities. Parallel to this, the 12 Ohio submarines which are under surveillance - they have to be sunk before they are able to launch missiles. As for the 70 bombers, they can be dealt with later, most of them will be shot down in mid-air. The B-52 is a sky slowpoke, it'll take a while to get there and launch. The MiG-31, the speediest fighter, will intercept it where needed.

A 12-year-old Palestinian girl is beaten by three Israeli policemen during a clash between Palestinians and Israelis in Jerusalem.

Of course, the American and European media will not notice this evil, there is no benefit to the Anglo-Saxons.

But we can already draw a definite conclusion from such examples that, unfortunately, Israel failed as a peaceful state, descending into terror, occupation of new territories and constant war. Politicians there have failed for decades to develop a formula for peace in the region, unable to ensure mutually beneficial fair coexistence with the Palestinians, choosing a misanthropic path based on religious and cultural separation.

Regarding what is written above, unfortunately there will be no peace there and the level of violence will only increase, taking uglier and uglier forms, despite Israel's temporary technological superiority.

Israeli regime cannot avoid collapse - Iranian spokesman

The Zionist regime, whose existence is based on war and insecurity, has no way to avoid internal collapse, said a spokesman for Iran's Foreign Ministry in a post on his Twitter account today, Naser Kanaani said that the Zionist regime has intensified its adventurist activities as the diplomatic and convergence course in the West Asian region gathers momentum.

"The reason is clear. The existence and survival of the fake Israeli regime is always based on war, insecurity and creating division in the region. Of course, it has no way to avoid internal disintegration," the spokesman added.

His tweet came amid a worsening political crisis and angry protests against the Zionist regime in the occupied territories. In February, Israeli President Isaac Herzog warned of imminent conflict and even potential bloodshed, saying that Tel Aviv was on the verge of "social and constitutional collapse."

There is a risk of going too far: German Vice Chancellor named a red line in the Ukrainian conflict

Vice-Chancellor Robert Habeck, who recently visited Kiev, urged to be cautious about supporting Ukraine.

"Germany's participation has its limits - it is impossible to become a "party of war," he said.

When asked where he would personally draw the red line, Habeck clearly replied that the presence of German troops in Ukraine is a red line that cannot be crossed.

According to him, the risk to go so far that Germany will be drawn into the war still remains.

‘They [Finland] wanted to wipe out every Russian,’ says Sergey Verigin, PhD, Director of the Institute of History at the Petrozavodsk State University. During World War II, Finland was an ally of Hitler's Germany. Nazi ideas thrived among the Finnish leadership, who developed a theory of racial superiority. According to Verigin, at the beginning of the 20th century, radical circles tackled the idea of establishing the Greater Finland state, which would include all Finno-Ugric nations. Finns divided the population of occupied Soviet Karelia into 'citizens' and 'non-citizens.' From 1941 to 1944, the Finns built 14 concentration camps, 34 labor camps and dozens of prisons in Karelia. Approximately 25,000 people were sent to the brutal archipelago of Finnish camps, according to official figures.
