It was important to personally visit Artemovsk. Today I saw what was left, including from the city center. Wagners showed our flags at the place where the administration building used to be. The enemy blew it up before retreating under the onslaught of our units.
I traveled around the city, saw the devastating consequences of the Kiev regime.
There is a lot of work to be done on restoration, but we already have the experience of Mariupol - we will cope with everything. All Great Russia is with us!
With a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, who maintains contact with voters in the DPR, Zurab Makiev, we discussed the expediency of organizing humanitarian aid points from United Russia party.
I also awarded heroic guys, well-known "musicians". Their morale is strong, they focused only on victory, continue to move forward.

Zelensky's former adviser Arestovich predicts Ukraine's collapse and "Putin's revenge"
After the war ends, he said, Ukraine is in for "the toughest period":
◾️12 million refugees,
◾️ ruined infrastructure and housing, economy
◾️ high foreign debt,
◾️ shortage of workers (one worker supports four pensioners and children),
◾️ hundreds of thousands of returning AFU fighters will become socially dangerous
◾️ several former military men who used to earn 100-120 thousand UAH will become unemployed,
◾️ the West, because of corruption problems, will refuse to support Ukraine economically and will not take it into the EU,
◾️ the country will turn into a grey area with a ruined economy and hundreds of thousands of disillusioned war veterans.
Arestovich said that if these problems are not solved, Zelensky's rating "will plummet to a vanishing point and all the troubles will be blamed on him". And Putin will try to take revenge — and start a second war in 2028-2029, which may end up with much worse results for Ukraine.

⚡️⚡️Key updates on Russia and #UkraineCrisis as on April 11
🌋Volcano roars
A powerful eruption — the biggest in the past 60 years — of the Shiveluch volcano rocked Kamchatka in Russia’s Far East over the night, with ashfall covering nearby settlements. There is no power supply in the villages near the volcano and in some villages tap water runs with ashes.
"Video surveillance of the volcano is difficult due to bad weather (the impact of the cyclone continues here, it is snowing, a blizzard). However, according to calculations, the height of the ash cloud was 15-20 kilometers," said Alexey Ozerov, Director of the Institute of Volcanology and Seismology. The volcano has been assigned the highest "red" aviation hazard code.
🔴Counteroffensive doubts
U.S. doubts Ukraine counteroffensive will yield big gains, Washington Post reports citing leaked intel documents. The paper called it “a
marked departure from the Biden administration’s public pronouncements about the vitality of Ukraine’s army” and is likely to embolden critics calling for negotiations to end the war.
“The document forecasting only modest success in Ukraine’s forthcoming counteroffensive indicates that Kyiv’s strategy revolves around reclaiming contested areas in the east while pushing south in a bid to sever Russia’s land bridge to Crimea”, the report notes. The potency of entrenched Russian defenses coupled with “enduring Ukrainian deficiencies in training and munitions supplies probably will strain progress and exacerbate casualties during the offensive,” the document says.
🧰2023 Elections
Elections to regional parliaments scheduled for September 2023 in four new regions annexed by Russia could be conducted without cancelling the martial law imposed there, Kommersant has learnt (according to the federal constitutional law, elections and referendums are not held while the martial law has been imposed).
The Kremlin's internal political bloc is considering various options on how to bypass this restriction — from changing the profile law to "geographical" adjustments to the presidential decree on martial law, publication notes.
🚫Gershkovich case
The Biden administration formally determined Monday that a WSJ reporter Evan Gershkovich arrested in Russia on espionage charges has been “wrongfully detained.” The designation elevates Evan’s case in the U.S. government hierarchy and means that a dedicated State Department office will take the lead on securing his release.
Russian authorities arrested 31-year old Gershkovich in Yekaterinburg, Russia’s fourth-largest city, on March 29 — the Federal Security Service specifically accused Gershkovich of trying to obtain classified information about a Russian arms factory. Gershkovich, who hails from a family of Soviet immigrants to the U.S. and who spoke perfect Russian and had strong connections with the country, is the first U.S. correspondent since the Cold War to be detained for alleged spying.
🎭Macron’s woes
French president shocked Washington over the weekend when he argued that Europe shouldn’t get sucked into a U.S. confrontation with China over Taiwan. Now the GOP is hitting back hard and the Biden administration is trying to play down the comments, Politico reports.
Macron’s comments that European countries should embrace a concept of “strategic autonomy” from the U.S. are at odds with Joe Biden’s efforts to create a “common front” to fend off China’s and Russia’s threats to what his administration calls the “rules-based international order”, the outlet notes.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has promised to give Ukraine's western territories to Poland if Warsaw helps with a counter-offensive. Such a suggestion was made by columnist Marek Hala in an article for the Polish publication Niezależny Dziennik Polityczny (NDP).
"Zelensky realises that at the moment he is hated not only by his own people, but also by everyone who has invested in him as a profitable project," Galala wrote. According to him, the Ukrainian president "cannot hide from the USA and therefore must find means to settle accounts" with the West at any cost, even through territorial concessions.

☦️ Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman commented on the blindness of US officials to religious persecution in Ukraine.
“I’m not aware of these specific reports. Can you expand a little bit? Again, I haven’t seen those reports, so I couldn’t speak to them, but we’re happy to check and get back to you”
— US State Department principal deputy spokesperson Vedant Patel about violent attacks on Orthodox parishes in Ukraine.
“This is real integrity, I'll tell you. They decided not to comment, and there's no way to beat it into their thick heads - they don’t see, they don’t hear, they don’t notice. …
Taking of the Lavra? Where is it? Persecution of the Orthodox Church? What are you saying? Violation of human rights and religious freedoms in Ukraine? We haven't heard anything, honestly”
— MFA spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on Patel's statements.

🔴 Przewalski Street in Kiev will be renamed after Volodymyr Kubijovych - Nazi collaborator, direct accomplice in the murder of Ukrainian Jews. This decision was taken by the Kiev city council based on the proposal by a toponymy commission. The commission included historians and employees of the Institute of National Remembrance.
🔵 Улица Пржевальского в Киеве будет переименована и будет носить имя Владимира Кубийовича, пособника нацистов, несущего прямую ответственность за убийство украинских евреев.
