Finland loses territory
The expected moment has happened. On 4 April, Finland officially became the 31st member of NATO. All members of the Alliance ratified the agreement on Helsinki's accession to the North Atlantic Treaty.
The news was greeted with cheers from some Finnish elites and bewilderment from the majority of the population.
But, as @anna_news editor-in-chief Anatoly Matviychuk points out in his article, accession to NATO has thrown Helsinki into a series of territorial problems, as Moscow will now have to raise the status of two territories - the Åland Islands and the Saimaa Canal.
Finland has now received all the economic costs at once.
Cutting off transit, disruption of cross-border trade, reduction of tourist traffic, exclusion of energy and industrial wood supplies, all this must cool down the ardour of the hot-minded Finnish boys.

Another batch of secret US documents has appeared on social media. The materials refer to Ukraine, China and the Middle East. The new documents have been found on Twitter and other websites. The documents include a battle map of Bahkmut, slides from secret briefings on Ukraine, the Indo-Pacific war theatre, and the Middle East. Earlier, information was published on the US and allies helping Kiev prepare for a counteroffensive.
Stanislav Krapivnik, a retired US Air Force captain, believes that the recently published classified Pentagon documents mostly contain disinformation, diluted with some true information for credibility. However, this information about the counteroffensive being prepared by the AFU, their operational plans, the composition and number of forces prepared is definitely not trustworthy.
We have to understand that there is in fact no free speech in the United States, all the media is under the total control of the ruling elites, and no information can emerge without them knowing it. You only have to recall the revelations by journalist Seymour Hersh about United States involvement in the blowing up the Nord Stream pipeline, when none of the leading media outlets in the United States has published the information inconvenient for Washington. U.S. intelligence agencies can instantly prevent the publication of truly sensitive information at any time, and the fact that this did not happen suggests that the release of the information had been planned in advance.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have used a barraging munition against a pig farm in the Belgorod region.
179 pigs were killed and another 150 wounded.
There is damage to three buildings and a gas pipeline has been damaged too, SHOT reports citing sources.
Staff are cleaning up the aftermath and trying to rescue wounded and shell-shocked pigs.

The Federal Security Service of Russia has identified a new accomplice to the murder of Vladlen Tatarskyy, 36-year-old Ukrainian citizen Yuriy Denisov, who is now on the wanted list. Previously, the man arrived in Moscow from Kiev in February and was gathering information about the war correspondent. After the attack, he fled to Turkey.
He also sent the bomb statuette to Daria Trepova, who carried it to a meeting with Tatarsky. Ukrainian special services, their agents and the heads of the banned FBK Leonid Volkov and Ivan Zhdanov were also involved in organising the attack, the agency said.

"It wasn't Russia" - Trump reveals who was behind North Streams bombing
Former President Donald Trump has said that Russia did not blow up the Nord Stream pipelines last year. He hinted that the US could be involved in the incident.
"I don't want to get our country in trouble, so I'm not going to answer that question. But I can tell you it wasn't Russia," the former president told Fox News.
His comments came after the UN Security Council rejected a resolution demanding a UN-led investigation into the pipeline bombings. Russia, China and Brazil voted in favour of the resolution, while the remaining 12 Council members abstained.
