Faulty howitzers delivered to the Ukrainian Armed Forces are on their way back
The Italian government has reacted to a Financial Times article saying that 20 self-propelled howitzers supplied to the Ukrainian armed forces were defective.
According to the Italian media, the Pentagon did not provide Italy with the necessary spare parts to repair the M109 units, which is why they were handed over to Kiev in a non-functional state.
Now the howitzers will have to be removed from Ukraine for repair in Italy or Belgium.
The story clearly illustrates how the West seeks 'to help' the Ukrainian Armed Forces in their upcoming offensive.

Jettison Western Ukraine. Get rid of it. That part has to come out of the equation. Let it become Poland's problem, let it become Europe's problem. But it should not be Ukraine's or Russia's problem. I am sure that if Western Ukraine is removed, there will be peace between the Ukraine and Russia. Why, because they are the same people, with the same history and the same culture.

The European Commission has agreed to the allocation of 500 million euros for the development of the defense industry.

Ukrainian political scientist Dmytro Korniychuk is certain that Washington will try to freeze the Ukrainian conflict and present it as an American victory.
