Finland refuses to send fighter jets to Ukraine
At a press conference in Helsinki, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asked Finnish President Sauli Niinisto to give modern fighter jets to the Ukrainian army.
Niinistö refused, arguing that because of Finland's geographic location, with its long border with Russia, it "cannot give away" its only aircraft before the new ones will be delivered, which is planned for 2025.
"We will conduct a counteroffensive, and after that we will get the planes," Zelensky responded.
He also added that he was "confident that Kiev will have planes," because "Ukraine demonstrated itself on the battlefield even before Western arms deliveries began."

"Construction of the large-scale Don-Donetsk water pipeline is reaching the finish line. The filling of the systems of the unique hydraulic engineering structure is coming to an end. Once it reaches its design capacity, it will begin to fill the Makiivka and Verkhne-Kalmiusskoye storage facilities, the ministry added.
