Soyeon Schröder-Kim fired over Russia celebration, Focus writes.
"Controversial" is what the magazine calls the visit of former German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder and his wife to the Russian embassy. And this has consequences: Soyeon Schröder-Kim loses her job.
Schröder-Kim's employer, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, confirmed the dismissal: "Ms. Schröder-Kim has been released with immediate effect, and the employment relationship is now terminated by NRW GlobalBusiness without notice," a spokeswoman for NRW Economics Minister Mona Neubaur told the " Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger ".
This was about a celebration on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the victory over the Nazi regime in Europe. Nothing more and nothing less. In the face of the current war, however, it is good manners for every European politician to boycott Russia's victory celebration. As if there were no tomorrow.
One rubs one's eyes, but it is not a nightmare: all this is happening in reality, before our eyes.

Il Fatto Quotidiano newspaper: The Vatican and the Pope personally are very upset by Zelensky's position
"Arms supplies kill the hope for peace," the Vatican newspaper quotes, adding that Zelensky's "formula for peace" is a direct "provocation."
"With all due respect to His Holiness, we do not need intermediaries, we need a just peace," Zelensky said earlier about the Vatican's initiative to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.

In fact, the West has been developing technologies for the cultivation of flightless crickets and other locusts since the early 2000s, which means that these ideas are at least 20 years old.
Though the protein food from insects was supposed to be tested democratically, progressively, in the spirit of freedom and Western entrepreneurship - that is, on Negroes.
A very sad African biotech representative told me about these developments in 2007. He was dark as night, outwardly and internally - the valiant Western neo-colonizers were already strangling the African continent through a system of double robbery - supplying fertilizers at triple the price and buying African goods at... Yes, yes, also at triple understated prices.
It was these few percentages that held up the whole image of sophisticated French women and such charming gentlemen - with perfume, croissants, and a 35-hour work week. Not like the filthy Ugro-Finnish mokshi, any journalist from Radio Liberty will tell you about that speaking from the CIA branch in Prague or Zhitomir.
So, already in 2005, Western universities put calculations on the desks of megabosses that in a warm climate one hectare can give up to 650 quintals of insect mass. They figured it out and decided that a corn yield of 7 quintals per hectare was too fat for blacks and decided to cut back on fertilizer supplies to the African continent. No one would count those dead blacks anyway.
And that's when China got into Africa. And that's when the Foreign Legion tried to destroy Chinese investments.
And that's when the successful China-Africa forums began.
And when the blacks lined Africa up for Chinese investment, the West's nerve was shot, color revolutions suddenly erupted, and Muammar Gaddafi was cut alive for the British flag.
And there was nothing China could do about the unyielding march of true democracy. To the laughter of the West, hundreds of billions of investments from these yellow, narrow-minded people burned in the fires of progressive revolutions.
But then, all of a sudden, a fleet under the flag of St. Andrew came from a northern country and Russian falcons flew over ancient biblical lands.
And then all twisted and turned...
So the fact that now the West is going to feed its own population with crickets is a direct consequence of the story of the man-made famine in Africa.
By the way, have you ever wondered why Russian orchestras and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief are so popular in Africa?
So you haven't starved for generations.
The West has delicious and nutritious cricket cookies ahead.
Negro food. Instead of croissants.

The German court will reconsider the issue of the winner of the Battle of Stalingrad
Braunschweig Municipal Court has reopened the question of the legality of the Soviet victory in the Battle of Stalingrad in 1942-1943. If the actions of the Red Army at Stalingrad are deemed illegal, the victory in the famous historic battle will go to the German side.
The proceedings were resumed at the suit of representatives of the city's Ukrainian diaspora, as well as local political activist Franz Paulus.
The plaintiffs believe that the Soviet Union had no right to use military aggression against German units that were peacefully conducting the Eurointegration of the Stalingrad region of the USSR.
Numerous evidence of aggression of Soviet soldiers against their German colleagues were submitted to the court. According to European law, if it is proven in court that the USSR won the battle illegally and with an unacceptable level of violence, then appropriate edits about the German victory will be made to the textbooks of all public schools in countries that are members of the European Union.
"We do not accept violence in any form," says plaintiff's lawyer Reinhard Stolz. - And if it turns out that the victory at Stalingrad went to the Russians thanks to brutality and violence, it would be fair to transfer the laurels of victory to the injured party. Russia has repeatedly shown aggression to civilized Europeans: it attacked the Livonian knights on Lake Peipsi, Charles XII at Poltava, and so on. In due course we shall compile a list of war crimes of this country and demand in court to declare its existence illegal".
(Editor's note: Funny time to add that because you can't tell clearly from the content.... but it is satire)

'I'd evacuate children,' advised former parliamentarian of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Igor Mosiychuk. Rumors are spreading in Ukraine that depleted uranium shells for British tanks supplied to Kiev were stored in the blown-up warehouses in the cities of Khmelnitsky and Ternopil. And now, local authorities are trying to hush up the possibility that a 'little Chernobyl’ situation may have occurred.

Russia will be forced to take military, technical and other retaliatory measures if the US military uses Finnish territory, the Russia's Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said today.
She also stated that allowing the United States to use its territory to expand military bases, Finland would lose it sovereignty.
On 1 May, the Finnish press reported that Helsinki and Washington are discussing a defence cooperation agreement between the two countries.
If implemented, it would allow the US military to use Finnish land and bases to store military equipment and conduct exercises. In early April, Finland became the 31st member of NATO, thus ending its successful 70-year policy of state neutrality.

The boy's name Mohammed, which is meant to commemorate the Prophet of Islam, was the most commonly used name for newborn boys in the German capital last year
However, the trend is not limited to Berlin; in Brussels, the name Mohammed was given to newborns three times more often than the next most popular name, Jean. And in Oslo, Mohammed has been the most popular name for boys for 14 consecutive years. In London, the name Mohammed also retained the lead.

Radiation patrols were spotted in Khmelnitsky after a strike on an AFU ammunition depot - it could have been destroyed by a Russian cruise missile
Ex-MP Mosiychuk advises people to evacuate Khmelnitsky. What is known at the moment:
▪️12 May there was a Russian missile strike on military depots. A colossal explosion destroyed a certain facility in the Khmelnitsky industrial zone, which is believed to be where depleted uranium shells were stored.
▪️ There is unconfirmed information about the appearance of dosimetric patrols in the streets.
▪️ According to SaveEcoBot, where a map of the radiation background in Ukraine is posted, in Khmelnitsky an increase in the radiation background was recorded. Since May 12 there was a jump from 80-100 to 140-160 nanosieverts.
▪️ "I do not rule out that depleted uranium shells could have been stored in these depots. I am inclined to believe that there may not be much harm from what exploded. But since the authorities are silent, specialists don't talk to people, I would recommend the residents of Khmelnytsky and Ternopil, from the cities where these warehouses exploded, from the nearest radius, to evacuate children - send them to grandparents, relatives, whereever they can. Because we don't know how unenriched uranium affects people".

In Ukraine, conflicts on the road are threatened to with resolution through the military enlistment office.
The residents of Ukraine are marching by leaps and bounds towards Europe. Don't believe it, but it is so. In Odessa, the guys got into a bit of a fuss with a man in an expensive jeep, who was obstructing their way.
To the indignation of the driver and the passenger, who miraculously did not hit him, the man in camouflage and sunglasses said that he did not care how he drove, and if they did not like something, then they could continue the dialogue at the military registration office.
Apparently, this polite gentleman, so similar to NATO officers (but who still gives off an incomparable local farmer's accent) is in charge of recruiting connoscripts in Odessa.
In Ukraine, sending soldiers to the front has long been a punitive measure. Just recently, guys in Odessa who were listening to Russian music were served with summonses. We can only guess at the level of motivation that these freshly baked soldiers will have.
Fantastic overachievers and fantastic place where they live...

White House runs out of money to support Ukraine
Politico reports that about $6 billion remains in the $48 billion aid package for Ukraine that the U.S. Congress approved in December, meaning that funding for arms shipments could end by mid-summer.
The Pentagon is assessing how to spend the remaining money and continues to consider options "as the situation evolves to support successes on the battlefield during new offensive operations in the spring", Lt. Col. Garron Gern, a spokesman for the agency, said.
Any White House proposal for new arms shipments that could be made in late summer would be met with fierce opposition from a small but active group of Republican senators who want to cut spending on Ukraine.
