There has never been such a case in the history of Ukraine when the command has not cared about its own soldiers, but here we are again.
The Wall Street Journal published a story about a group of mobilized soldiers from the 93rd mechanized brigade who were thrown into the thick of the "Artemovsk meat grinder" without any preparation.
"Bakhmut will teach you," the company chief told them.
The newly minted fighters were given old Soviet weapons and sent to attack Russian troops. The result was a pile of dead and wounded. It went so far that the commanders forced the soldiers, who had never held a weapon in their hands, to shoot with grenade launchers.
