Germany is an American state.
The newspaper Merkur writes:
"Nuremberg - among other things, the new security concept aims to ensure a greater police presence and cleanliness at Nuremberg's main train station. It includes more cameras and patrols by the US military police."
The reason for sending police from OTHER country is that Nuremberg Central Station is the third most dangerous train station in Germany. In addition, the involvement of the US military police would be a reaction to an incident where there were clashes between US soldiers and federal police.
