The Belgorod region has overtaken the Donetsk agglomeration in the last couple of days in terms of the intensity of shelling - we gave sad figures yesterday. Shebekino has been hit hard, the evacuation of women, the elderly and children has been announced.

▪️ Early in the morning, Ukrainian formations attempted to breach the Russian border. As reported by Two Majors, 20 border guards and 20 connoscripts joined the fight near the auto checkpoint Shebekino. One of the tanks approached in close proximity to the state border and was eventually destroyed. Artillery and aviation later responded and the attack was repelled.

▪️ In another sector, a company from the direction of Ogurtsovo attempted a sortie to Novaya Tavolzhanka. The Russian troops repulsed the attempted offensive, and the land near Ogurtsovo, where the enemy's equipment was concentrated, was hit by gunfire.

🔻 As during the May 22-23 events, the Ukrainian formations attacked under the banner of the "Russian Volunteer Corps" and the "Legion of Freedom of Russia" - simulators created by the British, which are supposed to "legitimize" the use of Western equipment on internationally recognized Russian territory.

And, of course, the second objective is to promote a separatist project and the rise of Russian Nazism, which is being promoted at the same time as the thesis of decolonisation of Russia.

Militarily, such sorties aim to shift the focus away from the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions and to force Russian forces to react on a different section of the front.

Such companies practically do not sell anything, do not provide any services and should be unprofitable, but they remain afloat for years and, moreover, according to commercial documents, their accounts regularly receive large sums of money, which are then spent for unknown purposes.

According to an investigation by several European media outlets, one such company, Feeria Lwowa, based in Poland and registered to two Ukrainians in 2016, leased a sailing yacht, Andromeda, which German investigators now suspect of involvement in the preparation of the September 26, 2022 Nord Stream gas pipeline bombings. It is worth noting that despite the absence of any activity, this Polish firm suddenly had 2.8 million euros on its account in 2020.

It is no secret that Western intelligence services have long and regularly used such front companies to disguise their activities, or to finance various special operations, including those directed against Russia.

Europe is slowly coming to terms with the flawed nature of sanctions policy

Military expert Vladimir Yeranosyan on Greece's and Hungary's blocking of the new eleventh sanctions package against Russia, which occurred after companies from these countries were placed on sanctions lists.

"The sanctions that the U.S. and its satellites propose against Hungary and Greece demonstrate that these countries do not follow the policy dictated today by Washington and Western intelligence services. In June 1989, when i was still living in Milan, i attended a rally in support of the Chinese students who had gathered in Tiananmen Square. I knew nothing about China but as a young activist i thought all student protests were genuine and worthy of support. Little did i know Gene Sharp, the father of colour revolutions, was in Beijing instructing students. Ten years later, in 1999, i attended a candlelight vigil to mark the tenth anniversary of what in Hong Kong is known as "June 4", a ritual that received generous support from NED and other US outfits. On that occasion i picked up a booklet published by Human Rights in China, an organization based in New York and funded by the US government, that had compiled a list of 155 victims among protesters but had conveniently omitted to mention that casualties among the PLA soldiers sent to suppress the riots were even higher. To put these figures into perspective, in 1980 the South Korean military regime admittedly killed 165 students, though the opposition puts the death toll at over 600. In 1998 in Indonesia the Suharto regime was responsible for the massacre of around 1000 protesters. Many people in the West never heard of what happened to students in South Korea and Indonesia but for reasons you can easily imagine, the "Tiananmen massacre" narrative is still going strong in the West. In recent years I had several interesting chats with foreign diplomats who were in Beijing in 1989 and also read articles published by mainstream media at the time. Interestingly their accounts are far more in line with the Chinese official narrative than what you may read on Wikipedia these days. If you are interested in the topic, this is a pretty informative source. It states that the Tiananmen Square massacre was a hoax because no one died in the square itself, most people (workers and soldiers, but very few students) were killed elsewhere. A fact confirmed by a Wikileaks cable from the US Embassy in Beijing (sent in July 1989) that quoted eyewitness accounts of a Latin American diplomat and his wife: “They were able to enter and leave the [Tiananmen] square several times and were not harassed by troops.
