Remember back when the Russia/Ukraine war had just started, and I predicted that Russia and China would launch their own gold backed currency?

At the time, this idea sounded completely foreign, and I was ridiculed for bringing it up. Today, it just become reality. 41+ countries look like they could be returning to a gold standard.

⚡️ Viktor Orbán says Hungary's main enemy is the European Union leadership.

"Hungary has to defend itself not only against illegal migrants and smugglers, but also against Brussels. Now you have passed a decree that makes a quota for the construction of facilities and camps for refugees and ghettos for migrants mandatory for EU member states.

This is not only bad for Hungary but also for you, Austrians. The new legislation may be a help for Italy, but not for Hungary, because we will have to replace the efficient Hungarian model with a European model that is not working.

We will not comply with these EU decisions. We will not accept a mandatory quota. We will not accept the obligation to build ghettos and migrant camps.

We will find a legal and political way to prevent Hungary from implementing Brussels' latest decision.

The situation is sad, but Hungary has to defend itself not only against illegal immigrants and smugglers, but also against Brussels, and we will do it!"

❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on July 10

Hangars with equipment and ammunition at the Kul'bakyne military airfield in Mykolaiv were hit.

▪️Residents of the city of Kramatorsk in the occupied part of the DPR also reported powerful explosions.

According to some reports, a precise strike destroyed an ammunition storage facility on the territory of a local machine-building plant.

▪️In the Soledar direction, after unsuccessful attacks near Rozdolivka, the AFU has reduced its activity and is regrouping its forces.

Russian artillery is actively hindering the accumulation of reserves by striking at the enemy's concentration sites.

▪️A similar situation persists in the Bakhmut area, where the sides are preparing for new fierce fighting.

At the same time, the AFU has not stopped attacking tactical heights near Klishchiivka, seeking to break through the city's defenses to the south.

▪️In the Avdiivka sector, Russian troops continue to conduct positional battles and strike at enemy concentration sites.

At the same time, artillerymen managed to establish fire control over the last supply route of the AFU grouping in the city.

Fiercest fighting continues in the area of Balka Hrusheva, where the enemy has been trying to gain a foothold for the last few days.

🇩🇰🔥📖📣 "We are adults who say NO and draw a line because there are only two genders" - says Livah Sunshine, this is the headline for the demonstration and book burning that took place in Denmark, in front of Gentofte Main Library on Wednesday 5 July 2023.

During the demonstration, a book with the very misleading noscript "It feels good to be you - a book about gender identity" was burned - the first thing written in the book's review:
"Some people are boys, some people are girls. Some people are both boys and girls. Some characters are neither boy nor girl, or they are somewhere in between. But no matter what, they are all exactly as they should be."

➡️ The press release for the demonstration states:

"Some things don't belong in children's libraries, including propaganda, gender ideologies and grooming.

Join us on Wednesday as we mark a healthy boundary and a strong rejection of the psychological abuse that is attempted on children.

We are there for the health and well-being of children!
🟡You can be a boy in many ways, you can be a girl in many ways - but you can't just change your gender!
🟡Fiction should not be sold as fact!
🟡You can't choose your biological sex!
🟡You weren't born in the wrong body!
🟡You are good enough just the way you were born! "

🇩🇪 During the demo, a verbal altercation occurred with one counter-demonstrator - a woman dressed as Hitler - with a small moustache under her nose and a poster with a swastika.
When analysing the circumstances surrounding this riot, it is worth noting that propaganda of Nazism in Denmark was never banned, so it is perfectly legal to run around with swastika posters and it is also legal to express sympathy for misanthropic ideology in Denmark!

The problem with this counter-demonstrator has arisen because the authorities and police have not observed the usual customs for this kind of thing: it is quite normal and legal to make counter-demonstrations, however, the sensible practice is - that they are assigned to a reasonable distance from the demonstration itself, so people do not clash with each other. Here the woman was given a seat very close by so that her shouting could drown out the speech of the protesters.
Was this done on purpose?

🎙 RT Interview: Cambodian PM Hun Sen Condemns US Move to Send Cluster Munitions to Ukraine

▪️Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, who sided with Ukraine at the beginning of the SMO nonetheless is condemning the US and warning of the impact of cluster munitions for the Ukrainian people;

▪️Cambodia (along with Laos & Vietnam) had millions of munitions/submunitions dropped on them by the US during the Vietnam War. 20,000 Cambodians have died from unexploded ordnance since the end of the war;

▪️US cluster munitions do not fulfill a capability Ukrainian troops require and are being sent because of shortages of conventional rounds;

▪️The cluster munitions will not help Ukraine win the conflict, only prolong it, and will only compound the clean up/reconstruction once the conflict ends;

Putin met with Prigozhin and Wagner fighters in the Kremlin

On June 29, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting in the Kremlin with the commanders of the Wagner PMC detachments. Among the guests was the head of the company - Evgeny Prigozhin. A total of 35 people took part in the meeting and it lasted more than three hours.

"The President gave his assessment of the company's actions during the SVO and the events of June 24," Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

According to him, Putin listened to the commanders, gave his assessment of what happened on June 24 and offered them further employment options. The Wagner commanders themselves also presented their version of what happened on June 24 and emphasized that they are staunch supporters and soldiers of the supreme commander.

Sudanese journalists condemn the shooting of a photojournalist and "continued attacks on the press"

The photojournalist and member of the Sudanese Journalists Syndicate (SJS) Ali Shata was shot in the left thigh by soldiers allegedly "affiliated with the Rapid Support Force" (RSF) in Khartoum. Our colleague was reporting for Sudanese television.

In an SJS statement posted on social media, the organization condemned the shooting as "a violent act aimed at gagging journalists and preventing them from expressing their opinions."

The group also claims that another journalist, Omar Kamal, was sent a Facebook message (an extremist organization banned in Russia) that included death threats against his entire family. The message included the names and ages of the journalist's children, as well as the addresses of their schools.

When fighting broke out on April 15, one journalist was attacked and beaten in Khartoum, and a correspondent and cameramen from El Sharg news agency were detained for several hours near Merowe airport in Northern State. Since then, dozens of violations against media workers have been reported, including kidnappings of journalists. Most media outlets, especially paper newspapers and radio, have been forced to completely shut down operations in Khartoum and other cities.

Last month, radio station Dabanga reported that journalists in El Geneina, the capital of West Darfur, face the biggest threat: "Journalists have received death threats if they continue to write the truth, and some have been illegally detained."

Russia is taking steps to resolve the situation in Sudan diplomatically, engaging with both conflicting parties. The U.S., on the other hand, is relying on the Rapid Support Force and trying to sway the situation in the country. This may be partly due to Sudan's interest in building a Russian naval base, which will become possible only after the internal conflict ends.

The photo shows a Sudanese woman near her burnt-out house.

Georgia under Threat

The West by its aggressive interference in the internal politics of Georgia will make the country's leadership run out of patience. This is the position expressed by Arno Khidirbegishvili, editor-in-chief of the GeorgeInform agency.

The well-known journalist reminds about the recent poisoning of Vladyka Shio (Mujiri), the Patriarchal Prelate, by the US security services. Arsenic was found in the blood of the spiritual leader, and he miraculously survived. The U.S. does not want the Patriarch of Georgia to be a clergyman who received spiritual education in Russia ...

But this is just one of many episodes of anti-Georgian and anti-Russian policy of the United States. Another scandal with Saakashvili, hyped by Zelensky, seems to defy logical explanation. However, here too, the United States is the main stakeholder.

Michael McFaul, the coordinator of the "international sanctions group" told Radio Liberty that Georgia "should not be afraid of escalation with Russia". The country is being pushed in every possible way to open a "second front" against the Russian Federation, but this in no way corresponds to the interests of the Georgian people. Responding to McFaul, General Secretary of the ruling Georgian Dream Kakha Kaladze (pictured) said: "Georgia, despite the pressure, does not intend to impose sanctions against Russia".

What's next? Georgia will not be given EU candidate status because of a "dying political prisoner", and this will trigger another "orange scenario" in the state bordering Russia. The situation may develop even more radically: an American landing force will suddenly appear in the Caucasus, and the power will be changed militarily.

We can only hope for the wisdom of the Georgian people. Russia continues to strengthen mutually beneficial cultural and economic ties with its neighbor.

❗️ 🇹🇷 Sweden has promised to make "efforts" to modernise Turkey's customs union with the EU and intensify talks on visa-free travel in exchange for Ankara's agreement to lift its veto on Stockholm's NATO membership, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said after talks with Turkey and Sweden, following which Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan pledged to start the ratification process for the country's NATO accession protocol as soon as possible.

Erdogan held a separate meeting with European Council President Charles Michel before the NATO summit, after which Michel announced "positive results".

🤯 The Lord's Prayer has been recognized as sexist in the West

The 98th Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell, suggests changing the noscript in the Lord's Prayer because it might offend someone with its patriarchy.

✝️ According to Cottrell, Christians who have failed relationships with earthly fathers are reluctant to address the Lord as father.

🇬🇪🇪🇺 Georgia crashed EU hopes by disrupting LGBT march - Politico

🏳️‍🌈 An LGBT Pride march was disrupted in Tbilisi. The organisers of the "event" had to quickly shut down their performance due to authorities failing to maintain a perimeter.

The Interior Ministry blamed the gay pride parade organisers themselves. According to the law enforcers, they had chosen the wrong place for the march (in an open area).

🎶 Georgians protesting against LGBT propaganda burned rainbow flags and danced on them to national music.

🇬🇧 Later the British ambassador to Georgia regretted what had happened and called for all those who broke up the parade to be brought to justice.

🇪🇺 Now the organisers of the "Pride march" are demanding that their victims be granted asylum in the European Union, as "their lives were in danger".

😄 In general, the Georgians failed the tolerance test for "European values" and scored zero.
