Last night a true Hero, Misha Luchin, gave his life for a better world. Misha was one of the best and most deadly drone pilots in the world. Today, one of my best friends, who also happens to be a drone pilot made this vid and sent it to me.

It is hard to laugh on a day when the world loses such a hero as Misha, but I know this video will make him smile - truth, power, mercy, and a bit of humor. Misha always smiles.

An American instructor describes tripled casualties among Ukrainian soldiers and the misuse of expensive Western equipment that has angered sponsors.

"Ukraine faces a closing window of opportunity to avoid "perpetual war" with Russia, according to a veteran US special forces officer who now trains Ukrainian troops. Eric Kramer, director and co-founder of the Kiev-based Ukrainian Defence Support Group, said in an interview from Kiev that Moscow's forces are well entrenched and dislodging them will be a long and costly project for Ukrainian forces.

Ukrainian casualties are mounting. "Some of my guys are working at the casualty collection point. And they're seeing three times as many casualties as they did a few months ago. It's pretty horrific," Kramer said.

According to German journalists, the businessman was engaged in risky deals in Africa and the Middle East, invested in Libyan factories and helped Russian PMCs to settle in Libya, as well as regularly travelled to Syria to visit the Russian military.

⚡ Kenya prepares for more protests: schools and shops closed

Protests organised by Kenyan opposition activist Raila Odinga are set to continue. More than ten people have already been killed in the past few weeks during the unrest.

Schools and shops are closed. Residents of Nairobi, Kisumu and other towns are being urged to bang pots and pans to protest against the "high cost of living" and "illegitimate government".
