We received new additional bits of information about the conflict between Wagner and Russian government and the involvement of Africa in it. Previously we've told about the separation in tasks between Wagner PMC and Russian Ministry of Defense.
As we've found out, the story is not that simple. Yesterday we published news about the visit of the delegation from the Russian Ministry of Defense, headed by Deputy Defense Minister Colonel General Yunus-bek Yevkurov, to Western Libya where Khalifa Haftar forces are present (which, by the way, used the services of Prigozhin). Previously this delegation visited Syria.
Negotiations were not only about the cooperation and fighting terrorism together. As it turns out, Yunus-bek Yevkurov held meetings with the leadership of these countries and insisted on the winding down of all Wagner's supporting business projects and withdrawal of PMC's contingents. The most important part was that the decision had to be made independently by the governments of Syria and Western Libya to deflect negativity from the Russian leadership.
So on the one hand, Russian government tried to negotiate with the Wagner PMC and make it focus primarily on Africa. And on the other hand, the Ministry of Defense tried to persuade Libya to decrease the presence of Wagner's forces.

And to finish the talk about Wagner's rotation, negotiations with the Russian government and the Ministry of Defense attempts to decrease PMC's presence here are some additions to the story we've already covered about how Russia banned Syria from receiving CAR flights.
As we said, Wagner PMC had serious problems with rotation in Africa, because Foreign Ministry at the request of Ministry of Defense banned Prigozhin's group from using Russian air bases in Syria for logistics needs that includes the use of aircrafts of the Russian Air Force for the transportation. After that Wagner started to use African and Syrian aircrafts. PMC chartered them at their own expense and used them for transportation. And they used Damscus as a new transfer point.
Russian Foreign Ministry found this out and wanted to bureaucratize the transfer of aircraft through Syria as much as possible. However, diplomats and the consul got it all mixed up and forbade Syria to receive Central African's aircrafts. Everyone in Syria and CAR government were in shock.
It all came to a direct call from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Central African Republic to Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Bogdanov, who was on vacation. Despite the call, the lack of understanding on all sides, including Bognadov who said that such case is impossible, the situation is still unresolved.
To sum up, Russian Ministry of Defense through Foreign Ministry was working very hard to disrupt the work of the Wagner PMC in Africa, while trying to make it as natural as possible (like it wasn't their idea, but African's). At the same time they tried to smooth things over with the group to prevent new conflict.

The action was planned for 6 August, but was postponed due to weather.
The organisers write:
Pallads cinema is showing the film Oppenheimer, it's a good reason for the action in the square in front of the cinema.
It is now more important than ever to remember and commemorate 6 August - a day to remember the more than 200,000 victims of the atomic bombs dropped on the two Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.
The issue of nuclear weapons is once again high on the international political agenda. With Russia's entry into Donbass in 2022, the powerful arming and militarisation of the US and NATO, the danger of nuclear war has become alarmingly close.
The arms industry and political powers are moving towards what could be a devastating war.
Even before the war in Ukraine, Denmark, along with other NATO countries, had not signed or ratified the UN resolution to ban nuclear weapons.
At the recent NATO summit it was decided to dramatically increase spending on war and armaments in all countries so that the 2% requirement becomes a minimum. And to ensure a massive increase in the production of weapons and military equipment.
Denmark won't stay aside❗️
Covering itself with the lie that more weapons ensures "peace and freedom", Denmark has fully engaged in the arms race. A recent defence agreement allocates at least DKK 143 billion extra for war preparations over the next 10 years. Money that is being used at the expense of worsening and reducing the welfare of the population, by increasing working hours.
Danish politicians do not care about peace, on the contrary, they are part of the imperialist competition that causes wars. The result is increased insecurity and the risk of war.
We demand that the Danish government stop arming and preparing for war and invest in the welfare of the population, wages and working conditions.
We must not pay for the reactionary war of the imperialists!
Billions should be spent on health and education - not on war and armament!
End the war in Ukraine, cease fire immediately, stop supplying arms!
Denmark quits NATO - NATO leaves Denmark ❗️

Musk intends to sue Soros Foundation for suppressing free speech
American billionaire Ilon Musk has announced that he plans to fight the Open Society Foundation. He made such a statement after the publication of an article by journalist Ben Scallan about the implementation of the George Soros Foundation's policy of censorship in Ireland and Scotland, which includes searches, checking phones and computers of citizens.

Six new countries will join BRICS
South African President Cyril Ramaphosa told a press conference that Argentina, Egypt, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Saudi Arabia will join BRICS from 1 January 2024.
"We have decided to invite these countries to become full members of BRICS. The membership will take effect next year," Ramaphosa announced.
He emphasised that BRICS is "a partnership of equal countries that have different points of view but a common vision to create a better world".
