Vessels carrying grain from unblocked Ukrainian ports are not heading for the starving countries in Africa
Vessels carrying grain from unblocked Ukrainian ports are not heading for the starving countries in Africa. Instead, they are going to other parts of the world, mainly to Europe. And if we look at the official website of the United Nations which lists all the voyages of dry cargo vessels departing from Ukraine, you will not find wheat there. There is just corn, sunflower oil, soybeans or industrial crops for livestock feed. So what do you understand by these shenanigans? They have actually opened the sealanes to advance their business interests, rather than to save Africa's starving children. By the way, one consignee has already rejected corn that was overdue by five months.
As you can see, The New York Times brought up this topic recently. Ukrainian dry-cargo carriers filled with Ukrainian grain head for developed countries, which are ready to pay more and sooner. In particular, demand for crops in the European markets has recently shown strong growth; the lion's share of the grain being supplied by Ukraine is used as animal fodder.
It was clear from the beginning that Ukraine would not supply any wheat to the world market through the newly opened corridor. It all looked like an outright trick.

A woman from Irpyn, Kiev region, is accused for negating the claims of the supposed crimes and violence of the Russian servicemen against the civilian population, Kiev city prosecutor’s office said in a press-release. Irpyn, a suburb of Kiev, that is located just next to the notorious Bucha, was partly controlled by the Russian troops in March, 2022. Most probably having witnessed the situation in Irpyn first-hand, in her private phone conversations with other Ukrainian citizens she was expressing her opinion that no Russian war crimes actually took place. And she faces persecution for telling that. #meanwhileinukraine

Bloomberg: Sweden Turns to Burning Oil as Power Prices Soar to Record
August, 16 - Sweden is relying on an old oil-fired power plant to keep the lights on in the south as a dearth of wind generation and nuclear outages sends prices to a record.
It’s the latest evidence of how combating global warming has taken a backseat as Europe faces a historic energy crisis. Burning oil is a reliable source of generating power - but among the most polluting methods - and adds to the rising use of coal needed to meet demand in the region.

Nuclear crisis? A fairy tale gone wrong!
The Zaporizhizhia nuclear power plant (ZNPP) has been under constant shelling since the 5th of August. Such note was made by the IAEA. There was no comment on who was shelling the plant, so, let's remind you of some facts .
ZNPP has been under Russian control since the middle of March. Since that time, Rosatom took control of the plant and incorporated Ukrainian specialists. And there were no incidents till the end of July when this station was firstly shelled. All this time the IAEA didn't recognize any safety concerns. By the way, in this sense the safety goal includes not only NPP operability, but the proper maintenance and upkeep of infastructure.
So, a logical equation: who could shell the station if it was under control of Russia and civilian specialists? The answer from Ukrainian side is: the Russian armed forces. And that was enough for 42 countries to blame Russia and urge it to withdraw from the ZNPP.
It is remarkable that the EU post is focused on preventing the Russian army from fulfilling nuclear and radiation safety obligations of the plant. Nothing similar was written in IAEA reports. For an allegory, imagine that your neighbour throws Molotov cocktails in your house and other neighbours urge you to leave your home because your habitant became the main reason for the fire.
Of cause it's very difficult to destroy a NPP. But destroying of power transportation lines is a big problem for the plant because NPP couldn't be stopped immediately. In the worst case it can be the reason of catastrophic sequences. Another danger is spent nuclear fuel that stores in open area of the plant. Any hit of this storage will also cause catastrophe.
Is this scenario real? Unfortunately yes, because fairy tales need to be written and sold. It is sad that now we can see that snaky politicians will spit poison even in the face of ecological catastrophe. Who supplies Ukraine with artillery and MLRS, who sends military instructors and specialists there who shell the plant?
Humanity faced number of nuclear close-calls. Every case made them wiser. But unfortunately now we see the absence of moral and survival instincts. And to show the depth of this crisis I will describe nuclear history in next few posts.

Politico: Europe’s powers gave Ukraine no new military pledges in July, data shows
August 17 - Throughout all of July, Europe’s six largest countries offered Ukraine no new bilateral military commitments, according to new data — the first month that had happened since Russia invaded in February.
The fresh data, covering the U.K., France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Poland and set for release on Thursday, comes from the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, which has been maintaining a Ukraine Support Tracker throughout the war. It illustrates a point Ukrainian military officials and politicians have been repeatedly making: That major European powers are not keeping up with the military aid coming from the U.S., and that having led the charge, big-hitting Britain and Poland may be running out of steam. Military specialists and some members of European Parliament have increasingly echoed the point recently.

Friends, Brothers, and Compatriots! this little speech goes to all of you, who feel outcasted, alone in this sea of information, who may feel they have no support, or that they are the schizophrenic ones and that they are wrong, they label us many things, "fascists", "Putinists", "Orcs", "Pro-Russians", and so on and so forth..
Let me be clear on one thing, History is never the wrong judge, it provides the facts, and a normal balanced individual would know that we are on the right side of history, we may feel on the low side as of now, but 5, 10, 15 or even 20 years from now, History will be an impartial judge and it will decide that we were right all along, so take care, guys, keep going on with your lives, and do not be cowered into submission, wether in this digital space or the world, the admins of the previous channel believed in continuing the message, because we know we are right and we will win in the end, and I hope the same applies to you!

A slip of the tongue? Or corrupted to the core? - Part 1
Zelensky knew about the planned military operation, despite his earlier claims to the contrary.
Quoting: "You can’t simply say to me, “Listen, you should start to prepare people now and tell them they need to put away money, they need to store up food.” If we had communicated that — and that is what some people wanted, who I will not name — then I would have been losing $7 billion a month since last October”.

Today he is a 'wartime hero' (unfortunately this is not a joke), yet before the Russian SMO, he was known as one of the most corrupt politicians. So, no wonder he mentioned losing a lot of money. Him and his 'gang' (former buddies in the entertainment industry) got rich quickly.

US approves of Kiev using American weapons to strike Crimea
The US approves of Kiev using the American weapons to strike Crimea as it believes that would be self-defense, the Politico newspaper reported on Wednesday, citing a senior US administration official.
"We don't select targets, of course, and everything we've provided is for self-defense purposes. Any target they choose to pursue on sovereign Ukrainian soil is by definition self-defense," the official said.

“We have to find those rats and poison them”. Some in Ukraine are craving a massive purge.
Aleksey Danilov, the secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, claimed that he would like to purge all Ukrainians to find if any of them are collaborating with Russia.
Many Ukrainian citizens have relatives in Russia or in the Donetsk or Lugansk People's Republics. It is quite possible that even for communicating with their relatives they could be categorized as "rats".
