Americans and Europeans are spending thousands of dollars to have their names and phrases written on grenades, mortars, tanks, rockets and land mines before they are sent to Ukraine to be used. Wish donations have become a fast-growing crowdfunding business in Ukraine.
Colin Smith, an employee of a Dallas-based e-commerce company, told the Washington Post he spent $3,000 on a gift for his wife - a picture of a shell with their initials and their wedding date: "C & Y. Est. 2021".
Wonder how these people would feel, if the rocket with their initials hit a playground in Donetsk killing civilians, or the ZNPP causing a nuclear catastrophe?

Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled the shopping centre in Donetsk today. The information on casualties is being ascertained.

Zelensky proudly posted photos of soldiers-heroes of Ukraine on Instagram. It is noteworthy that one of the soldiers has the emblem of the SS division "Galicia" on his chest.
But why would we be surprised? The SS division "Galicia" has been officially honored in Ukraine for many years. It's just the Western media who are in no hurry to talk about it. After all, then their image of a free country, a standard of democracy, and the poor victim of Russian orcs might be shaken...

The Galician division was the part of the Division Waffen SS which was declared a criminal organization by the International Military Tribunal during the Nuremberg Trials. Today this division is honored by many Ukrainian nationalists.
That's what David Pugliese writes about SS Galicia:
Even a cursory glance at SS Galicia reveals its links to the Nazi campaign of destruction against the Jews and murder of civilians. Its commander was Oberfuhrer Fritz Freitag, a fanatical Nazi, who was directly involved in the mass murder of Jews.
Among the commanding officers of SS Galicia was Ukrainian-born SS Hauptsturmfuhrer Heinrich Wiens, who served with the Einsatzgruppen D murder squad and personally took part in mass executions of Jews. Another division officer, SS Obersturmbannfuhrer Franz Magill, was also a seasoned killer of Jews. SS Galicia worked alongside SS-Sonderbataillon Dirlewanger, a unit that contained rapists, murders and the criminally insane.

How Societies Turn Cruel.
You guys ever thought what a cruel society looks like? Some may point out to the current Western Ukrainian/Galician one, apathetic to 8 years of war on their own soil in terms of human losses, in body and soul, others may point out to certain African ones, where the death of hundreds of thousands was justified because they had a slightly whiter or dark skin, or Arab, Latin, etc... One thing that is constant in all of these horrific situations is that the Societies engaged in this are cruel, uncaring, and apathetic to such causes.
What makes these Societies Turn out to be like this?
I'm a show to tell type of guy, so I'm going to tell you a little story.
It's the great depression in the 1930s, people can't find enough to eat, they can't heat up their homes, they can't take care of their households well enough, and naturally scapegoats popped up, from the "It's the communists" to "It's the Jews"
But you know what's the truly horrific thing? German society, while disagreeing on some parties to blame , almost universally agreed on one thing.
We should not take care of our crippled, mentally or physically.
That means that infants as young as 9 months were euthanized, although if I recall, that was during the Weimar Republic, but German society didn't turn out to be into killing deaf and blind infants suddenly after Hitler took over.
Overall, all crippled in all aspects were subject to euthanized, for children, I think about 8 thousand were killed off, like sheeps to the slaughter, but in total, of people who were mentally ill, undeveloped, or have crippling physical aspects, in total I believe about anywhere from 50 to 90 thousand were killed.
And guess what, the Germans cheered for this! Less mouths to feed, literally a quote from Hitler...
I volunteered for orphanages and a pediatric oncology hospital, children are my soft spot and I can not lie that I almost broke down when I first read that, these people are one of the few ways we can prove that there is some good in humanity, unilaterally and without thought for pay, but back then, we took these defenseless innocent humans, and just shattered their skulls and fertilized the soil with their bodies.
All in all, a society turns cruel due to material realities and a convenient scapegoat, you see, it's not enough to tell people "It's the X!", No, you need to explain to them why it's X, and to do that you have more than one way, a twisted logical one, like the case we just saw, that overpowers all moral and religious arguments, or if people are not too materialistic, then you can try twisting the word of God, or the word of an admired statesman, etc.. too many ways and too many examples.
That's why, guys, I say, have some individuality when it comes to such things, your society may turn cruel, but that doesn't mean you have to be, too.

📚🤔 Why do some Ukrainians have such a deep hatred of Russians, while most Russians feel sorry for Ukrainians?
Why are some Ukrainians so convinced that Russia is "stealing" their land, while totally ignoring the fact of illegal cession from Russia in 1991, and legal referendums in Crimea and Donbas regions?
What do some Ukrainians believe the fate of the world depends on Ukraine, and this is why everybody owes them and they can do whatever they want?
Why are they so obsessed with Ukrainian independence when Ukraine has zero independence? In the historical paradigm, Ukraine is a colony.
Why do some Ukrainians believe they are superior people to Russians?
Why are they screaming that Russia will answer for everything? For what exactly? For something that happened in a fictional history of Ukraine?
Why do they see themselves as victims, when their hands are covered in blood and they are the ones causing destruction?
30 years ago, what's happening today was unthinkable, and you would be called cuckoo if you asked such questions. What has happened? How did it happen? Who was behind the changes? Where did it start?

Suicide missions, abuse, physical threats: International Legion fighters speak out against leadership’s misconduct
The Kyiv Independent’s investigation reveals endemic problems in one of the International Legion’s wings that is overseen by Ukraine’s intelligence. Some of the unit’s commanders are implicated in arms and goods theft, sexual harassment, assault, and sending unprepared soldiers on reckless missions, according to multiple sources.
Of particular note is wanted Polish criminal Piotr Kapuscinski, known in the Legion as Sasha Kuchynsky. In the Legion, Kuchynsky (Kapuscinski) calls himself a colonel and wears a colonel’s epaulet. In Poland, Kapuscinski is wanted for fraud and faces up to eight years in prison. In Ukraine he has faced charges of aggravated robbery, sexual assault and possession of illegal weapons and explosives, for which he was let out on a bail of $2,500.
After the all-out Russian war broke out in February, Kapuscinski joined the military, at which point the courts suspended his case and then paid back his bail in May 2022. The probe into Sasha Kuchynsky, among other episodes, concerns him sending soldiers on what they call a suicide mission in Sievierodonetsk, a key city in Luhansk Oblast that Russian troops seized in late June. "We got into the field without knowing what was going on," the officer said. “They would just bring us into the middle of the place, dump us there to fight, dump us there to die.”
There are incidents reported of soldiers being ordered to loot from stores. “There were local residents near the shopping mall, one of whom, seeing this, shouted insults, and the others looked at us with reproach and condemnation. I don't know whether it was legal or not but I felt ashamed to carry out the order of Sasha Kuchynsky and take away furniture and valuables from stores during hostilities and in front of local residents who suffered from the war,” a French legionnaire wrote in his statement. Kuchynsky ordered similar lootings on multiple occasions and Ukrainian soldiers were ordered to participate as well.
According to the legionnaires, they regularly witnessed what they believe were suspicious arms movements. Despite the legion’s armory rooms being loaded with all sorts of heavy weaponry and ammunition, the soldiers say they often didn’t end up in their hands.
The allegations in this story are based on interviews with legionnaires, written testimonies of over a dozen former and current members of the legion, and a 78-page report they’ve put together about problems within this particular unit of the International Legion.

The whole world is with… Russia?
The latest UN vote on Russia's military operation in Ukraine shows growing support for Russia and the increasing isolation of the West. The sentiment has changed drastically since early March.
On 24 August, a UN resolution to condemn Russia's aggression against Ukraine received support from only 54 countries. This is less than one-third of the total number of UN members (193). And the support level is dramatically lower compared to 141 countries that voted for a similar resolution on 2 March.
The actual list of the 54 countries voting against Russia is also quite telling:
🔻 Unsurprisingly, supporting the anti-Russian resolution were the US, Canada, the UK, EU members, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and South Korea. Also worth mentioning here is Turkey, whose vote was driven by its own geopolitical interests in the region.
🔻The G20 vote was split 50/50. In other words, half of the world’s largest economies, including China and India, supported Russia. On the other hand, the list of the 54 voters for the anti-Russian resolution is full of tiny countries, whose economies are insignificant and whose dependence on the US is too strong (North Macedonia, Albania, San Marino and Federated States of Micronesia, to name a few).
🔻 Out of ten ASEAN members, the only one supporting the resolution was Singapore, and all the 8 members of SAARC sided with Russia.
🔻 The only Latin American countries voting with the US against Russia were Colombia and Guatemala.
🔻 Among the 55 countries of the African Union and the 22 countries of the Arab League, not a single one voted to condemn Russia’s military operation.
This means that Russia is winning the fight for people’s hearts and minds across the globe. Why does Russia have so many friends these days?
Firstly, the world’s political leaders aren’t blind. Unlike ordinary people in some countries, who remain misled by propaganda in the Western mass media, the leaders are fully aware of the West’s role in protracting the war. They are also clear on the barbaric methods of warfare used by the Kiev regime.
Secondly, and even more importantly, a growing number of countries support Russia in its efforts to counter the unipolar world order. This order serves the interests of a handful of Western countries at the expense of the rest of the world, and that’s probably why today many countries wish Russia a success in its fight against Western hegemony, happening now in Ukraine.

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Danilov admitted that Ukraine deliberately engineered the war starting in 2019.
Speaking on the NTA TV channel, he said that Zelensky deliberately rejected all the compromise options offered by Russia, France and Germany, and as a result the situation turned into a large-scale military conflict. In the first place, the "Minsk agreements" were called into question.
"We have prepared for war in a very effective way. The fact that we have now been through 180 days of war and have not given up our territory shows that we have prepared well for war."

Soldiers of the AFU tell about their unenviable situation in the Kherson sector
Soldiers of the AFU tell about their unenviable situation in the Kherson sector. They predict an exhausting positional war.
✔️The shelling at ground zero is almost incessant: sometimes it is impossible to even lift our heads. Soldiers lie at the bottom of the trenches for hours, some cover themselves with body armour, and the most canny ones even haul pieces of iron to the trenches and make individual shelters for themselves. We climb over the parapet in turns, and only if absolutely necessary. Ninety percent of the time we spend at the bottom of the trenches.
✔️ Not all men can bear it - some of them, even those who joined the army voluntarily, after sitting in trenches under constant shelling, try to go to the rear under any pretext. Unfortunately, sometimes there are real epidemics of panic - entire units leave their positions. We call them "skiers", from the saying "to hop on skis", that means to run away. Thus they strip whole districts kilometres long. The saddest thing is that the Russians quickly become aware of such escapes through aerial reconnaissance by drones and they immediately try to wedge into empty sections of the front.
✔️ The territorial defense brigades are considered to be the most unreliable among those holding positions. They have many random people who enlisted in the territorial defense after February 24, fancying that this war would be like Maidan or ATO. And that Russian tanks could be hit with a Molotov cocktail. But this war is different.
✔️ We don't discuss the offensive on Kherson at all. This matter is irrelevant now. Until the Russians get pounded with artillery at least as much as they pound us, any offensive is out of the question. Now for every one of our artillery rounds we get fifty from their side.
✔️ The shells for Soviet howitzers, which are still largely in service with the AFU, are disastrously scarce, they are worth their weight in gold. The same applies to mortar rounds, and the mortars themselves. Mortars in positions are also consumables, they survive no more than a week or two, they are located by drones and quickly knocked out. Therefore, mortar crews, having fired a round or two, run tens of meters away and hide in the trenches. They have neither the strength nor the ability to pull the mortars with them. In a couple of minutes the response is a return strike.... That's the way we fight.
