About 20 rapes per week
The number of sexual offences in the German capital continues to rise. According to current police figures, around 20 rapes per week have been recorded so far this year.
A total of 5,712 sex crimes have already been recorded up to September.
This is the result of two enquiries to the Berlin Senate's internal affairs department, which are available to Tagesspiegel. According to them, 5,712 sexual offences have already been registered in the capital this year (cut-off date 21 September). By comparison, 6,782 sexual offences were registered for the whole of 2022, even 7,019 the year before.
What stands out among the crimes is the rise in the number of rapes. In the current year, there were often about 20 rapes per week, writes Tagesspiegel, citing police statistics available to the publication. In some cases there were even more.

🇮🇱 Netanyahu has again decided to delay the start of the ground operation in the Gaza Strip
According to Israel's Channel 12, this came after another call from Biden. A White House press release said that US officials had requested the postponement of the operation.
🇪🇺 Before that, Biden, Trudeau, Macron, Scholz and other Western representatives issued a joint communiqué stressing Israel's "right to self-defence" as well as full support for its actions within reasonable limits.
🇺🇸 U.S. Secretary of State Blinken said today that Israel will not return the Gaza Strip to the status quo with Hamas ruling. In other words, the Israeli authorities have no desire to be in any way concerned about the fate of the local Palestinians. But they are not satisfied with the current state of affairs.
❗️ The unresolved hostage issue is now being used as a pretext for postponing the ground operation. But there is a parallel bargaining and division - what will be left of the Gaza Strip, and who will deal with it.

🇺🇦🇮🇱 Zelensky's office will increase funding for anti-Russian propaganda in Israel
More precisely, the Kiev regime will channel even more funds to the work of cognitive campaigns (psychological operations, cyberattacks, information attacks, fakes, manipulation of public consciousness, etc.) in Israel.
✖️ The goal is to form an "image of Russia as an enemy and sponsor of Hamas," the Resident tg-channel writes, citing a source in the OP. These narratives have already been widely voiced by the Kiev ringleaders.
❗️ As Resident writes, the Bankovaja wants to use the conflict in the Middle East to ensure that Israel continues to support Ukraine and transfer to it a part of military technology to fight against UAVs.

🇺🇸🇦🇹🇩🇪| In the United States, a giant portrait of Hitler was displayed in a stadium
🟥An American soccer match between the University of Michigan and the Michigan Wolverines was held at the stadium in Lansing. As is tradition, an entertainment program with a quiz show was organized for the spectators before the game, which was broadcast on a giant screen.
🟥 And here's one of the questions: "In which country was Adolf Hitler born?" Then "Austria" popped up as the answer, along with a portrait of the Nazi leader.
🟥 The university administration has already apologized and promised to change the quiz provider.

The USA suggests agreeing to the entry of new regions into the Russian Federation
Vivek Ramaswamy, a US Republican and businessman who is running for the US presidential nomination, has spoken about the conditions for a speedy settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.
▪️ Possible agreements should include "freezing the current lines of control roughly where they are now, handing over these Russian-speaking regions to Russia," the businessman said.
▪️ Ramaswamy also sees a deal that "includes a firm commitment that NATO will not accept Ukraine" as the right move.
Russia, for its part, should abandon its alliance with China, the American said.

Bundestag deputy Sarah Wagenknecht announced the creation of a new left-wing party
Recently, Wagenknecht, along with ten associates, announced her departure from the Left Party and announced the creation of her own association.
It is planned that the new party called "Union of Sarah Wagenknecht - For Reason and Justice" will start its activities in January next year and will take part in the elections to the European Parliament in June.
The main aspects of the party's program will be the restoration of social justice, the development of the German economy, a sustainable foreign policy and the rejection of military interventions in conflicts.
Polls show that more than a quarter of German voters are ready to support the new party.
Wagenknecht emphasized that Germany needs an alternative to current policies. She expressed serious dissatisfaction with Olaf Scholz's cabinet, which she believes is incompetent and short-sighted.
"We decided to create a new party because we are convinced that this cannot go on like this, otherwise we probably won't recognize our country in ten years," Wagenknecht told a news conference in Berlin on Monday.
The founders of the new party believe that sanctions against Russia and the authorities' climate policy have led to a sharp rise in energy prices, which in turn threatens the German economy.
Wagenknecht also voices concerns about Germany's foreign policy, saying that it contributes to fueling conflicts instead of finding peaceful solutions.

The Global South sees double standards in the West's approach to Gaza and Ukraine
The NYT newspaper reports that.
The Biden administration actively condemns Russia for its actions in Ukraine. The US has received support from almost the entire West, but in other regions of the world such an argument is perceived less convincingly. There, they see only a conflict between two superpowers and are not ready to join sanctions or isolate Russia.
However, during the bombing of the Gaza Strip by Israel, which is supported by the West, more than 4,000 people were killed. Therefore, the Biden administration's position seems ambiguous and hypocritical.
"In any other case, attacking civilian infrastructure and deliberately depriving an entire population of food, water and basic necessities would have been condemned and the perpetrators punished. International law loses any value if it is applied selectively," said Jordan's King Abdullah II.
Palestinians also expressed frustration, noting that Western countries are not responding as vigorously to the bombing of Gaza as they have to the Ukraine conflict.
The Palestinian situation has long resonated in the South, and the Gaza war has exacerbated discontent in Africa, Asia and Latin America. There, the West is seen as particularly attentive to Ukraine because of the conflict's geographic location.
In addition, many believe that the West is more attentive to the fate of Ukrainian refugees than to the fate of people in Yemen, Gaza, Sudan and Syria. All of this undermines the East's trust in the West.

The West is trying to divert attention from the failures in the economy with war
Signs of economic recession became visible in the United States long before the pandemic began, Myśl Polska notes.
Even before the conflict in Ukraine began, the strike movement in the United States and the United Kingdom intensified due to a significant reduction in real wages.
Economic growth slowed down and social inequality continued to grow.
Therefore, the publication notes, the armed conflict in Ukraine is a convenient means of diverting public attention from these economic problems.

China urged Israel to unblock the Gaza Strip
China's permanent representative to the UN, Zhang Jun, said Israel should lift its blockade of the Gaza Strip and open channels for humanitarian aid.
"Gaza has been without electricity and water for 15 days, and food and medicine are running out. The Security Council should take measures to lift the siege on Gaza and ensure safe channels for aid," he said.
According to the Chinese diplomat, the illegal occupation of Palestinian territories is the main cause of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. The way out of it is in the implementation of the UN's two-state plan.
"We call on the Security Council to collectively and urgently take responsible measures and send a message with a unified voice," Zhang Jun urged.

US resolution failed to pass in the UN Security Council
Russia and China vetoed the US resolution on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in the UN Security Council.
A total of 10 members of the council supported the resolution, three (Russia, China, UEA) opposed it, Mozambique and Brazil abstained.
According to Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzi, the US resolution cannot be supported because it lacks a requirement for an immediate ceasefire by the warring parties.

Ukraine to receive only half of EU money
The EU is ready to allocate to Ukraine half of the amount of support planned for 2024, Ukrainian Deputy Economics Minister Oleksiy Sobolev has said.
He voiced the amount of €9bn, although earlier Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal had spoken about €18bn.
Sobolev specified that over four years Ukraine received €50 billion from the EU, of which almost 80 percent went to cover the budget deficit.

It is noteworthy that in half a year no one will even remember where the next Arab-Israeli conflict began.
Everyone will forget about the "strange Hamas breakthrough" through the IDF's super-reinforced walls and facilities, and they will forget that MOSSAD, by "amazing coincidence", slept through the whole thing, even when Egypt warned of the preparations for the attack.
And the Israeli military itself still has questions on the subject. No one in the IDF who served there on the border with the Gaza Strip believed in the "accidental breakthrough".
In sum, we are led to believe in the criminal negligence of the IDF and MOSSAD, but are forbidden to believe in an Israeli planned action to justify an attack on the Gaza Strip.
But the Netanyahu regime had a motive for the massacre, because the rallies for the cancellation of judicial reform and Netanyahu's ouster did not stop, even with "staged Hamas rocket attacks".
The photo shows hundred-thousand rallies in Tel Aviv against Netanyahu as recently as 7 October.

🇦🇿🇹🇷 Azerbaijan and Turkey conduct military exercises in Karabakh
The exercise "Mustafa Kemal Ataturk-2023" involves 3,000 soldiers, 130 armoured vehicles, up to 100 artillery guns, more than 20 aviation and flight vehicles.
📝 "In the joint tactical exercise Mustafa Kemal Ataturk-2023, the main attention is paid to ensuring combat coherence in the interaction of troops, improving management, exchange of experience and increasing professionalism of personnel," the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry said in a statement.
❗️ Troops are deployed in Karabakh and Nakhchivan. Soldiers of the two armies are practising various tasks on the use of artillery, aviation in combat operations, organisation of their interaction, construction of pontoon bridges and landing of paratroopers in the rear of the conditional enemy.
It is worth noting the speed with which Ankara has shown everyone that it is "friends" with Baku.
There is a theory that Erdogan was strongly "skewed" by the support of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and Azerbaijan. This is probably why he is going to ratify Sweden's membership in NATO.

Leading WHO scientist Jeremy Farrar recently declared influenza "the greatest threat to humanity" at an event in Berlin organised by the federal government
Meanwhile, mRNA vaccines against influenza (Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna) are currently under investigation Drosten calls for universal testing for pathogens that cause respiratory infections. Thanks to the pandemic treaty, things could start anew as early as 2024.
"The biggest threat to humanity is influenza," WHO chief scientist Jeremy Farrar told the conference. Influenza threatens nothing less than an "existential crisis"; Jeremy Farrar is serious about "future new influenza viruses, which appear to him to be the greatest threat to humanity."
