Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with participants of the Congress of Young Scientists that the Germans agreed with the government's decision to pay for armaments because Germany has no sovereignty.
"Poland closed the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline that goes to Germany. Ukraine closed one of the systems - one is still working, the other was closed. They receive money from Europe - for example, from Germany - for armaments, pensions, social payments and salaries, among other things. Though the gas the Germans need from Russia has been cut off.
