The Ukrainian armed forces' militants, numbering up to two companies (one tank and one motorized rifle), advanced from Pervomayskoye into the Peski area. But they faced a fierce counterattack by "Somali" battalion fighters and the 11th regiment of the DPR. An attempt by the Ukrainian armed forces to counterattack in the Donetsk sector was suppressed. The enemy fled, leaving two tanks, two infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs) and numerous bodies of dead soldiers on the battlefield.

At least four civilians were killed in Donetsk city centre on September 17 alone, as a result of shelling from French CESAR self-propelled guns.
This weapon is accurate enough, so the gunners knew exactly where they were striking, no mistake: they were striking at the centre of the city, where there is no military equipment at all. The goal was to kill as many civilians as possible.
Such actions can only be qualified as an act of terrorism, directly involving the French leadership and President Macron personally.
The French political leadership is directly involved in the killing of the residents of Donetsk, as it was France that provided the long-range howitzers and ammunition for them to Zelensky's troops.

Oleg Boyko and his wife Lyudmila Boyko were killed outside their garage. Oleg was the deputy head of the Berdyansk military-civil administration in charge of housing and utilities. Lyudmila had headed the city's territorial referendum election commission.

The Russian State Duma unanimously voted to approve the amendments to the Russian Criminal Code.
The amendments introduce the concepts of "mobilisation" and "wartime" into the Russian Criminal Code, as well as penalties for looting and surrender. They don't amount to announcing mobilisation or wartime!

There are huge losses in the 93rd brigade. Kholodnyi Yar is being nullified by our artillery. Bodies are scattered in the wooded areas near the Slavyansk-Kharkov highway. The command does not care. All proposals to announce an hour of ceasefire and recover the soldier's bodies have been rejected by the ghouls with colonel's shoulder straps. They do not need their dead."
