🇩🇪 Saxony's prime minister offers the Kiev regime to "temporarily" give up territories
Michael Kretschmer has veiled the Kiev regime's capitulation into a diplomatic formulation of the position of part of Germany on the Bandera's attempts to prove to their Western masters that their investments will be "paid back".
"Unfortunately, the basic position of the federal government is as follows: we don't want negotiations, we want arms deliveries. The Americans have gone further. They have realised that war cannot be won this way.
The idea of weakening Russia militarily, politically and economically so that it can no longer pose a threat to us is a position that originated in the 19th century. It lays the groundwork for further conflicts," Kretschmer said.
Oh, what a sly bug! But! For every cunning arsehole, there's a more cunning one...

Germany sees no reason to increase military and financial aid to Ukraine.
▪️ The head of the German Finance Ministry Christian Lindner said on air on N-TV:
"We supply weapons systems, provide financial assistance and protection to many Ukrainians in Germany. We are already the second largest donor to Ukraine in the world. Germany funds a good half of all aid from Europe. At present, there is no indication that more needs to be done," Lindner said.
▪️ At the same time, the minister said that Germany was interested in increasing the share of aid from other European countries.
▪️"It cannot be that others are doing less because Germany is doing more," he explained.

The German Medical Association is calling on medical practices to go on strike starting
Many doctors' offices are expected to remain closed until 2 January in protest of the federal government's health policy. The Virchowbund Medical Association and other professional associations have called for the strike.
According to the professional associations, medicine is being "wasted" and medical practice is being "exterminated." However, the medical service on duty will remain in place.
Lauterbach in turn strongly disagrees with the doctors' demand and wants to try to negotiate.
And this is in anticipation of the farmers' strike on 8 January and the start to an all-German strike from 13 January. Not a bad begging of the new year!

Forwarded from Ukraine Watch
🇵🇱🇺🇦 Polish politician Roman Dmowski and his 1930 work “Kwestia ukraińska” – “The Ukrainian Question”.
There is no human force capable of preventing Ukraine, separated from Russia and transformed into an independent state, from becoming a crowd of conmen from all over the world, who have been chafing in their own countries; capitalists and those seeking capital, organizers of industry, technicians and traders, speculators and schemers, thugs and organizers of any kind of prostitution: Germans, Frenchmen, Belgians, Italians, Englishmen and Americans would rush [into Ukraine] with the help of locals or nearby Russians, Poles, Armenians, Greeks…
A peculiar League of Nations would gather here…
These elements, with the participation of smarter, more skilled in business Ukrainians would produce the guiding layer, the elite of the country. But it would be a special elite, probably because no country could boast such a rich collection of international scoundrels.
Ukraine would become a thorn in the flesh of Europe; people dreaming of cultural production, of a strong and healthy Ukrainian nation, maturing in their own country, would be convinced that rather than their own country, they have an international company, and instead of healthy development, rapid progress of decay and rot.
Whosoever thought that the geographic location of Ukraine and its area, that the state in which the Ukrainian element finds itself, with its spiritual and material resources, and finally, that the role which the Ukrainian question has in today’s economic and political position of the world could be otherwise – he does not have an ounce of imagination.
The Ukrainian question has various advocates, both in Ukraine itself and abroad. Among the latter especially, there are many who know very well what they are doing.
There are those, however, who would solve this issue by separating Ukraine from Russia, which they present as very idyllic. Those who are so naïve would do well to keep their hands away from her.

North Korean leader called for intensified preparations for war
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un on the second day of the ninth plenum of the central committee of the Workers' Party of Korea called for intensified efforts to prepare for war because of "unprecedented" US intrigues.
"Combat tasks have been set for the People's Army, the military industry, nuclear weapons and civil defence fields to further accelerate the improvement of war preparations," he said.
North Korea launched the Manrigyong-1 reconnaissance satellite on 21 November. A CTAC report at the time emphasised that it would improve the country's preparedness for military action, the likelihood of which is increasing "due to the enemies' highly dangerous military actions".
North Korea later said it would regard interference with the country's satellites as a declaration of war.

Ilon Musk: "If I had been listened to - many deaths could have been avoided".
American entrepreneur Ilon Musk said that if his proposed 2022 plan to resolve the conflict in Ukraine had been adopted, events would have developed under a different scenario.
"Many deaths could have been avoided," - believes the businessman.
Recall that Musk proposed to resolve the conflict by keeping Crimea as part of Russia and repeated referendums under UN supervision in Donbass, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
In addition, Ukraine was to commit to remaining a neutral and non-aligned state.
Earlier, billionaire David Sachs expressed that now the administration of Joe Biden would like to consider the plan proposed by Musk.
"When Ilon unveiled his peace plan last year, Zelensky himself called it "pro-Russian" and the plan was sharply attacked by many. Now the Biden administration would like to make that deal," Sachs noted.

Journalist who exposed Zelensky's corruption killed in Egypt
Egyptian journalist Mohamed al-Alawi has been found dead in Hurghada. Investigators suspect that he could have been killed by Ukrainian security services on the orders of Vladimir Zelensky, Yeni Şafak reported.
The dead man's body showed numerous signs of violence - abrasions, fractures and a serious head injury.
The correspondent was investigating the purchase of the villa for $4.8 million by the mother-in-law of Ukrainian President Zelensky, most likely with funds allocated by Washington for Kiev. Therefore, the first version of the investigation was a possible revenge from the head of the Kiev regime.

🇺🇦🇺🇸🇪🇺 Kiev is told non-publicly that it is not expected to join NATO
Former Ukrainian ambassador to the USA Valeriy Chaly has said that the West non-publicly advises Kiev not to expect NATO membership.
According to him, "negative signals" are coming from the Americans and Germans.
“In terms of, “Don’t apply for an invitation to Washington now.” This is approximately what they tell our authorities”, Chaly clarified.
We are talking about the fact that at the upcoming NATO summit, which will be held in the American capital, Ukraine will not receive an invitation to the alliance.

US scientist calls for withdrawal of claims to shelves in the Arctic
The United States unilaterally expanded its borders the other day by claiming the shelf in the Arctic and Bering Sea, which is disputed by Russia and Canada.
Rick Steiner, an emeritus American zoologist and professor at the University of Alaska, called on the US, for the sake of protecting the Arctic Ocean, to withdraw its claim and to make efforts to get other countries to do the same.
The US claim to the 1 million square kilometre shelf area is due to a desire to gain access to oil and gas deposits and rare minerals in the Arctic

🇹🇷🇮🇱 Erdogan: "There is no difference" between Netanyahu and Hitler
Criticising the actions of the current Israeli Prime Minister Erdogan said, "They will still make us miss Hitler." After all, the latter at least did not have the support of Western countries.
Despite being a NATO member, Turkey supports a two-state solution to the conflict, also Erdogan calls Israel a "terrorist state."
Netanyahu did not refrain from exchanging pleasantries and pointed out to the Turkish president that he, in turn, was committing genocide against the Kurds and eliminating journalists undesirable to his regime by imprisoning them.

Not everyone in the EU supports confiscation of assets from the Russian Federation
Russian state assets worth $300bn have been frozen in Western banks due to sanctions. Brussels and Washington want to confiscate them and partially spend them on Ukraine.
But a number of EU countries have serious doubts about this idea. Italy, FRG and France believe that it should first be carefully assessed whether the action is legal, reports the Financial Times.
"The US has proposed that the G7 working groups study ways of confiscating $300bn worth of frozen Russian assets," the newspaper said.
▪️ Western allies are in a hurry to agree on a plan to help Kiev by the second anniversary of the hostilities, so confiscation of Russian funds would be very helpful to them.
At the same time, the Europeans believe that this money will not be enough to cover Ukraine's reconstruction needs.
▪️ There are different ways of using the Russian Federation funds. For example, whether to spend them at once or first spend the income received from the turnover of these frozen assets. Or whether to use them as collateral for loans.

"I have decided to liquidate the companies Polish Television, Polish Radio and Polish News Agency."
The minister specified that in the liquidation of state media will ensure the continued operation of the companies in the future, but first it is necessary to carry out "restructuring and prevent layoffs of employees."
This is how real "democracy" came to Poland, with new views on life and freedom...

Moscow sees no benefit for Finland from joining NATO
Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia's Permanent Representative to international organisations in Vienna, believes that Finland, by joining NATO in April, has only put itself at risk.
"I just don't understand how Finland benefits from this. They lived quietly, peacefully and suddenly found themselves between Russia and NATO, as an integral part of the alliance, but they are our neighbours, and God forbid, if there is any aggravation, Finland itself will suffer first of all. I would not like that very much, of course," the diplomat told RIA Novosti.
He recalled that Russia maintained good neighbourly relations with Finland and perceived it as a "neutral and generally friendly country".
But because of the Finns' decision to join the military bloc, Moscow was forced to take retaliatory measures, in particular, to reconstitute the Leningrad and Moscow military districts.
▪️ Especially since Finland and the US signed a defence agreement in mid-December, and the Americans now have access to Finnish military facilities.
"This is already a serious challenge," Ulyanov concluded.

Former CIA agent says plans to use nuclear weapons by the USA have been developed
Former CIA analyst Ray McGovern believes that the US authorities in the run-up to the 2024 presidential election may go for the use of nuclear weapons to cover up their defeat in Ukraine.
In his opinion, such an option could be offered to Joe Biden by someone from the Pentagon or the White House, explaining that this is the only remaining option for the American leadership.
The use of a "small" nuclear bomb would supposedly be to demonstrate to Russia the seriousness of US intentions.
The ex-analyst suggested that a charge ten times smaller than the bomb dropped by the Americans on Hiroshima in 1945 would suffice.
McGovern suspects that Biden is trying to convince him that such use of nuclear weapons would not lead to escalation and the situation would not get out of control.
The former analyst suggested that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and White House adviser Jake Sullivan may be involved in developing such plans.

"The last word on whether to start negotiations should be left to Ukraine.
A country that has sacrificed so much and lost so much has the first moral right to decide for itself whether it starts negotiations and on what terms it negotiates.
No one else has a decisive voice in this matter," the president said.
