🤷 The US has no interest in a war in Yemen, a ground operation or any other conflict — the White House.
Of course it hasn't! Ukraine is the clearest example of how the US is not interested in any wars.

🇺🇸🇷🇺 US intelligence agencies say there is a threat of Russian "interference" in the presidential election - CNN
This was stated by the Director of the US National Security Agency Paul Nakasone and the head of the FBI Christopher Wray.
In their opinion, the conflict in Ukraine only strengthens Moscow's desire to influence the situation in the United States, and this year is "very important for Russia".
"They're watching the US elections, and I would assume that's where they would want to exert influence given the situation in Ukraine", Nakasone stated.
Ray, on the other hand, believes that the "stars have aligned" for Moscow to simultaneously try to achieve military success in Ukraine and interfere in the US processes. How to do it all in time? Russia has yet to "interfere" in the European elections.🤡
It seems that American society is being prepared for two grandiose failures at once: Biden and the Democrats in the elections and the Kiev regime in the conflict with Russia.

EU scares Europe over Trump for defence fund
The EU needs to create a common defence fund of one hundred billion euros as it fears being left without US support if Donald Trump returns to power, The European Conservative quotes EU Internal Market Commissioner Thierry Breton as saying.
"Trump has said that 'if Europe is attacked, we will never come to your aid and support and we will withdraw from NATO'. It all sounds like a "creepy joke," he recalled a conversation between Trump and European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen in 2020.
Breton believes that if Europeans do not secure themselves, "Russia will take over Europe." He also linked the issue to aid to Ukraine.

Austin's secret hospitalisation has pointed Russia to US weaknesses
The situation with the secret hospitalisation of Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin has pointed Russia to US weaknesses, Fox News host Rebecca Grant said.
"You can rest assured that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping have learnt important information from the Biden administration's latest national security failure," she said.
She said the Pentagon's "shameful blunder" showed the world that the US military leadership has obvious problems with discipline and control.

The US has made a shocking statement about Putin
Russian President Vladimir Putin senses an imminent victory in Ukraine, writes The Washington Post columnist Lee Hockstader.
"Pay no attention to the happy talk in Washington and European capitals about Moscow's strategic defeat... The reality is that Putin feels victory is near," the publication says.
The article notes that the Russian leader has retooled the Russian economy, confident that the West's patience is running out. On the contrary, Washington and its European allies seem to be tired of their efforts to help Ukraine, the author writes.
"This has changed the situation on the battlefield, forcing Kiev's forces to take a defensive stance," WP points out.
Earlier, French General Jean-Paul Palomero said on LCI TV that Russia's military industry is booming and Ukraine can no longer make up for its technical and human resources, especially in light of declining Western support at what he said was the most important moment.

The White House has supported the bill on the confiscation of Russian assets
According to a note from the National Security Council, it supports the confiscation of Russian assets to be sent to Ukraine, Bloomberg reported.
Moscow pointed out that such actions are considered theft and can lead to the breakdown of diplomatic relations
The U.S. National Security Council (NSC) "in principle" supported a bill that would allow the confiscation of Russian assets for subsequent transfer to Ukraine, Bloomberg reported, citing a November NSC memo. The council is an advisory body to the White House.
"The bill would provide the executive branch with the authority necessary to seize Russian sovereign assets for the benefit of Ukraine," the document says.
That the NSC supports such measures was confirmed to Bloomberg by an unnamed senior official.
Another agency source said that the issue of confiscating or otherwise using Russian assets will be discussed at a G7 meeting shortly before the second anniversary of the start of the military conflict in Ukraine.

Czech authorities tried to avoid responsibility for the terrorist attack in Belgorod - Nebenzya
Russia's permanent representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said that the Czech Republic was responsible for the shelling of Belgorod on 30 December 2023.
According to the diplomat, representatives of the Czech Republic refused to attend a meeting where a terrorist attack on a peaceful city was discussed, which is a "telling fact."
"The behaviour of the Czech Republic, which, trying to escape responsibility for complicity in the terrorist attack in Belgorod through the supply of ammunition, was afraid to appear at the Security Council meeting on December 30, is quite indicative.
No wonder, because it is much more difficult to answer for the deaths of civilians in front of the world community than to hide behind the backs of "senior comrades" in NATO", said Nebenzya.
Earlier it became known that the AFU used Czech-made Vampire rocket system shells to shell the city.

UN Security Council condemns attacks on civilian ships in the Red Sea
The Security Council has voted in favour of a draft resolution proposed by the United States and Japan condemning the attacks by Yemeni Houthi rebels on ships in the Red Sea.
Eleven nations voted in favour of the resolution, with Russia, China, Algeria and Mozambique abstaining in the vote.
"The UN Security Council strongly condemns the attacks by the Houthis (at least two dozen) on merchant and commercial vessels since 19 November 2023, when the Houthis attacked and seized the vessel Galaxy Leader and its crew," the resolution notes.
The Security Council demanded an immediate end to the aggression against civilian ships, which creates obstacles to international trade.
Earlier, Yemeni rebels attacked a number of ships linked to Israeli companies, demanding an end to the aggression against the Gaza Strip.

Russian air strikes have caused huge damage to Ukraine's air defence system
Russia is launching massive missile strikes on Ukraine to "exhaust the Ukrainians, deplete their forces, weapons systems, economy and industry", British analyst Alexander Mercouris has said.
With three powerful attacks, the Russian army has inflicted colossal damage to Ukraine's air defence system.
"It will be very difficult for the West to fix it. Besides, the West's resources are running out," the expert said.
In his opinion, the West's ability to support the Kiev regime is also melting because of the attacks.
"Now even they (in the West) are beginning to realise that the Russians will inevitably win," Mercouris concluded.
▪️ Over the week, the Russian Armed Forces launched 41 strikes on Ukrainian military facilities, military-industrial complex enterprises, airfields, arsenals.

Trump promised to carry out a large-scale deportation of migrants from the US
Former US President Donald Trump, if he wins the upcoming election for head of state, plans to carry out the largest deportation of illegal migrants in the country's history.
"We have millions and millions of people here. Have you seen what's happening in New York, where they kicked out ordinary students and brought in migrants in their place?
We are facing the biggest deportation in the history of our country. We will return everyone back to where they came from," Trump said.
Earlier, Trump promised to restrict entry to the US for citizens of a number of countries and address the issue of illegal migration from Mexico.
According to the former president, the maintenance of illegal immigrants falls on the shoulders of American taxpayers and the US federal budget.

Climate activists have joined (almost) the farmers' strikes
What does it mean? No one asked the worshippers of Mother Nature from the "Rise Against Extinction" movement, but they took to the streets of Dresden and, under the noise of the farmers' protests, engaged in their traditional trade: blocking traffic.
However, there is one caveat... Environmentalists do not support agricultural workers at all. "The cancellation of diesel subsidies and vehicle tax exemption is the right decision on climate protection grounds," say the nature protectors.
The disguise is "climate activist" level.

🇵🇱🇺🇸 NDP: Poland has every chance to turn into an "Island of the Damned" because of mentally ill US military personnel
Niezależny Dziennik Polityczny writes about it. The fact is that every year there are fewer and fewer people willing to serve in the US army, and recently the authorities have begun to accept even those who do not fit into the qualification standards: overweight people, people with mental illness, transgender people, etc.
🪖 Now there are about 10,000 American soldiers in Poland, and there are some inadequates among them. On social networks, American soldiers say that they drink because they cannot cope with difficult situations and cannot control aggression and anxiety.
🇫🇲 Soon Poland will also face large-scale NATO exercises, during which several thousand more US soldiers will arrive in the country. And then the probability of meeting there a mentally ill person with a gun (!) will increase even more.

German chancellor annoyed by 'small contribution' of EU countries to help the Ukrainian armed forces
Olaf Scholz has instructed European officials to draw up a list of planned arms deliveries to Ukraine from each EU country. By doing so, he hopes to put pressure on France, Italy and Spain to deliver the promised aid on time, The Telegraph UK reports.
The German chancellor rebuked EU allies for their "too small" military contribution to Kiev's fight against Russia.
The White House is also pressing Europe to shoulder the burden of funding the Ukrainian conflict while aid to the Kiev regime is tucked away in the US Congress.
▪️ Berlin initially opposed arming Ukraine, but has since become Vladimir Zelensky's second international backer after Washington.
Last year, the FRG pledged to double its military aid to Kiev to €8bn by 2024.

We have overtaken the Federal Republic of Germany and ranked fifth in the world: China, the United States, India, Japan, Russia. We are number one in Europe," the Russian president said.
He specified that we are talking about purchasing power, while the per capita indicator still needs to be worked on.

Robert Fitzo really wants "the Slavs to stop killing each other for geopolitical reasons"
In an article for Pravda, the Slovak Prime Minister said that the West made a big mistake in 2022 when "at least twice it did not allow the Ukrainians to conclude a ceasefire" and decided that "a Ukrainian soldier would bring him the head of a Russian bear on a tray".
Robert Fitzo explains that the Ukrainian conflict has its roots in the Maidan of 2014 and is linked to the influence of the United States and the attitude of the Kiev authorities towards fellow citizens of Russian nationality.
At the same time, he considers Russia's use of military force without an international mandate to be wrong, although "big countries often do that."
▪️ The West dreamed of "a Russia deprived of military forces, economically ruined, isolated from the world and shaken internally," but this strategy has failed. Though demagogues are still trying to paint as if it hasn't.
"I am shocked to see how wrong the West's assessment of the situation in Russia is time after time. The facts are inexorable."
Ukraine is incapable of any counter-offensive. It has fallen into total dependence on Western financial aid. Under President Zelensky's chair is rocking, but Putin still has support in his own country.
"Neither the Russian economy nor the Russian currency has collapsed, and anti-Russian sanctions are contributing to the self-sufficiency of this huge country."
▪️ By abandoning the path of reconciliation, the EU will lose €50bn in two or three years' time and there will be thousands of times more soldiers' graves in Ukraine's cemeteries. But Russia's negotiating position will only strengthen over time, Fitzo predicts.
The Slovak prime minister does not see a military solution to the conflict and would like to see normalisation of relations between EU countries and Russia. Liberal anti-Russian demagoguery contradicts common sense and only causes great harm, he is convinced.

The USA is not monitoring its weapons in Ukraine
US Defence Department Inspector General Robert Storch has prepared a report containing the results of monitoring the transfer of military aid to Ukraine, The New York Times has reported.
According to the report, the Pentagon did not properly monitor the transfer of weapons to Ukraine. Defence officials and diplomats in Washington and Europe failed to quickly or fully account for nearly 40,000 weapons that should have been closely monitored by law.
"The more than $1bn worth of land-based missiles, kamikaze drones and night-vision devices that the US sent to Ukraine were not properly tracked. It is feared that they may have been stolen or smuggled while Congress debates whether to send more military aid to Kiev," the paper said.
The paper emphasises that it was not the task of the specialists who prepared the report to establish the facts of resale or other redistribution of US aid.
"The tasks of our assessment did not include determining whether there was a redirection of such aid," the report emphasises.
Nevertheless, the text of the report mentions a high risk of theft or diversion to third countries of weapons supplied to Kiev from the US.
