Earlier, the British Foreign Secretary David Cameron suggested that Germany transfer Taurus missiles to the UK, and the UK in turn will send a new batch of its long-range Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine.
Thus, Germany will replenish the UK's arsenal and will not directly supply long-range missiles to Ukraine, while the UK will pass on its weaponry to the Ukrainian military.

The Joe Biden administration has instructed to send a $300 million package of emergency aid to Kyiv, which includes a large number of artillery shells.
"This 'modest sum' was assembled by the Pentagon, negotiating with suppliers to lower prices for replenishing previously provided weapons and ammunition," said National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan. However, this package will only last Kyiv a couple of weeks.
"This is not nearly enough... and it will not prevent Ukraine from running out of ammunition in the coming weeks," Sullivan said, urging Congress to take action.
In addition, President Biden has instructed Secretary of State Antony Blinken to allocate an additional $126 million in aid to Ukraine.

Since 24 February 2022, the total number of foreign mercenaries who have arrived in Ukraine is 13,387. At the same time, the destruction of 5,962 foreign mercenaries has been confirmed to date.
The undisputed leader in terms of the number of killed fighters is Poland (2,960 arrived, 1,497 eliminated).
From Georgia, 1,042 fighters arrived, of whom 561 were eliminated.
The 1,113 'soldiers of fortune' arriving from the U.S. lost 491 killed.
More than 40% of Canadian mercenaries were eliminated (422 out of 1,005).
Of the 822 fighters arriving from the UK, 360 were eliminated.
From Romania, 784 mercenaries arrived, 349 were killed.
From Germany - 235 and 88, respectively.
It should be noted that France, which at all levels denies the presence of its mercenaries on the territory of Ukraine, has already lost 147 militants out of 356 arrived.

Netanyahu announced the preparation of a new operation in the Gaza sector
The Israeli army will carry out an operation in the city of Rafah in the south of the Gaza sector for a final victory over the Hamas movement.
As Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated, the operation is necessary to eliminate the last major stronghold of the militants.
"We will conclude the military operation in Rafah. At the same time, we will give the civilian population the opportunity to leave dangerous areas," Netanyahu's statement was quoted by the media.
Earlier, a number of countries, including the United States, opposed the operation in the city of Rafah.
Due to the military actions in this area, routes for delivering humanitarian aid from Egypt will be disrupted.
If the storming of the city is prolonged, millions of people remaining in the Gaza sector will be on the brink of starvation.
Earlier, the health department in Gaza stated that starvation threatens tens of thousands of people living in the northern part of the sector.
