This is a reminder that Pigeons are *NOT* "flying rats" but in fact highly are intelligent and affectionate animals that bond with their human companions in the same way that other "Traditional" pets do and can be taught to fetch things and even catch things midair. They are friends and deserve our love and affections like any other creature.
