After creating your app, you will be redirected to your app’s details page, where you’ll find the Client ID and Client Secret. Copy the Client ID, go to the chat, and use the command:
.setid + your Client ID

If you copied it correctly, a confirmation message will appear.
Now return to Spotify for Developers, on the same page where you copied your Client Secret, click View client secret and copy the value shown. Repeat the same process: go back to the chat and use the command:

You have completed this step. In the next step, you will authorize your app to use your Spotify account so the plugin can work properly.

There are two common causes for this:
Last.FM’s API may take a few seconds to detect playback. If you just started the song, wait a few seconds and try the command again. Also, make sure the service you're using: Spotify, YouTube, etc is properly connected to your Last.FM account.
Are you using a modified client or unofficial app? Scrobbling might not work. This plugin only works with official services and apps, as it relies on their APIs. If you're using a patched or third-party app, consider reaching out to its developer.
