▫️In 2016, he was the co-recipient of the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences for his work on contract theory. Notably, he has served as the president of the American Law and Economics Association and a vice president of the American Economic Association. Additionally, Professor Hart has used his theoretical work on firms and contracts to consult on several legal cases.

The rise of large-scale historical datasets (e.g. complete count censuses and genealogical datasets) and digital archives and sources have created new overlaps in objects of study while also exposing the different intellectual values that orient the two disciplines. This panel will engage historians and economic historians in a dialogue about similarities and differences in methodologies and reasons for studying history, especially the history of U.S. racial inequality.

▫️The Geneva Trade and Development #Workshop (GTDW) is a seminar series, featuring invited speakers in the area of International Trade. It has been running for over ten years, with onsite meetings.
It is organized jointly by the Graduate Institute in Geneva (IHEID), the University of Geneva (UniGe), the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).

▫️The online edition of GTDW will be co-organized with the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR).

🗣The line-up of speakers is as follows:

- مروری کلی بر مقالات اخیر این افراد داشته‌باشید.

- ببینید که کار شما به کدام یک شبیه است و میزان شباهت‌ها و تفاوت‌ها را بررسی کنید.

- خلاصه‌ای از کار پژوهشی خود برای یک ارایه ۵ دقیقه‌ای از آن به زبان انگلیسی تهیه کنید. یعنی این که بتوانید در ۵ دقیقه توضیح دهید کارتان درمورد چیست.

- برای فرصت صحبت با این افراد در جلسات خصوصی ثبت‌نام کنید. معمولا یک لینک جداگانه برای آن وجود دارد. اگر نیست، معمولا این افراد در پایان جلسه آنلاین باقی می‌مانند. در آن فرصت خود را معرفی کنید و بپرسید که می‌شود خلاصه کارتان را ارائه دهید یا خیر.

به این ترتیب، این جلسات با احتمال بالایی می‌‌تواند به فرصتی برای آشنایی کاری با افراد منتهی شود.
