▫️در این جلسه دکتر نازنین شاهرکنی به ارائه تحقیقات خود در زمینه تفکیک جنسیتی در ایران خواهد پرداخت. ایشان به تازگی در این زمینه کتابی به‌نام "زنان در مکان" منتشر کرده است.

معرفی سخنران:
▫️دکتر شاهرکنی استاد مطالعات جنسیت در دانشگاه اقتصاد لندن است. وی دکترای خود را در زمینه جامعه شناسی از دانشگاه کالیفرنیا در برکلی دریافت کرد. پیش از پیوستن به دانشگاه اقتصاد لندن، او در دانشگاه های سیراکیوز، لوند، هاروارد و بیروت نیز حضور داشته است. علایق پژوهشی نازنین شاهرکنی در فصل مشترک سیاست شناسی جنسیت، جغرافی فمنیسم، و قوم شناسی (اتنوگرافی) حکومت در ایران، خاورمیانه و غیره قرار دارد.

▫️Esther Duflo, (France) a former advisor to Barack Obama, is an MIT academic. In 2010 she received the John Bates Clark Medal, awarded to the most outstanding economist in the United States aged under 40. She was listed by Foreign Policy magazine as one of the world’s 100 most influential thinkers and her books have been translated into over fifteen languages. She was a joint winner of the 2019 Nobel Prize for Economics
