В World Bank есть такое подразделение как DIME. Там в основном занимаются Development Economics и Impact Evaluation. Каждую осень они нанимают около 40 Research Assistants и Field Coordinators.
Research Assistants помогают в основном в работе с данными, собирают их, обрабатывают. Тут важно знать Python, R, STATA. Немного эконометрики там тоже есть. Вакансии Research Assistants там либо удаленно, либо в Вашингтоне (делают G визы). Возможность удаленки зависит от проекта, в целом им можно написать и спросить, они нормально отвечают. Все это заключается как Short Term Consultancy Contract. Можете погуглить как вообще это в WB работает, но условно, это консультантский контракт, не облагаемый налогами и ограниченный по количеству дней. У меня каждый год чешутся руки подать, так как очень интересно, но вроде я уже закомитилась к придоку. Но мое ощущение, что это очень здорово и интересно как начальная позиция в Банке. Я думаю, конкурс там большой, но пробовать никто не запрещает.
Про Field Coordinators я знаю меньше, но идея такая, что это работа по сбору данных и проведения исследований "на земле", то есть в странах, где DIME проводит исследования (Африка, иногда страны Латинской Америки).
