nxs-universal-chart v2.6.0 is out!

Discover the new features of our repository!

🟢 We provided a better rendering for ConfigMap resources and have added support for a b64 encoded strings for easier setting of values via CLI.

🟢 Universal-chart now supports cert-manager custom resources!
We’ve added a template to create custom resources that implements Issuer, ClusterIssuer and Certificate objects. These Kubernetes resources represent certificate authorities that are able to generate signed certificates by requests and ensure they’re valid and up-to-date. Along with that, now there’s a simple web-application that creates these resources. You can check commands for a test run here!

🟢 LoadBalancer type of services support loadBalancerClass, allocateLoadBalancerNodePorts and externalTrafficPolicy now!
It allows you to use a load balancer implementation other than the cloud provider default. You can also optionally disable node port allocation by setting the field spec.allocateLoadBalancerNodePorts to false and control how Kubernetes routes traffic to healthy backends by externalTrafficPolicy.

🔴 Fixed issue with PVC volume name rendering #64.
With the new update everything works correctly!

nxs-universal-chart v2.7.0 is out!

Dive into the new features of our repository!

🟢 Native support for Traefik resources has been added!
Previously, you could only use Traefik through IngressClass. However, it doesn't allow you to take full advantage of Traefik's features as you need to create middleware and other resources using extradeploy, which is not optimal. Now with native support, you can unlock the full potential of Traefik with automatic configuration and access to all functionalities.

Explore the latest feature in our release and enhance your workflow now!

🟢 Multiple Istio resources have been added!

▪️ Istio Gateway - to describe a load balancer operating at the edge of a mesh, allowing you to manage incoming or outgoing traffic, letting you specify which traffic you want to enter or leave the mesh;

▪️ Virtual Service - that will help you affect traffic routing, for example, direct the traffic received by the gateway to backend services;

▪️ DestinationRule - that defines rules that apply to traffic intended for service after routing has occurred.

nxs-universal-chart v2.8.1 is out!

With the help of your issues and notices, we have been able to correct some problems. Here’s a couple of words about improvements:

🟡 Added the ability to set Kubernetes version, Helm version, and API versions of k8s-resources via values.yaml
(For example: global.helmVersion etc.)

🔴 Fixed template for Istio DestinationRule.
Added conditions to check if subsets and exportTo are set in values.yaml

🟡 Added the ability to set tolerations at the level of all deployed workloads.
It's important to note that tolerations at the level of a specific resource will override global tolerations.

🔴 Fixed syntax errors in _app.tpl that caused lines to stick together
(For instance: helpers.app.selectorLabels, helpers.app.genericSelectorLabels)
