The buyback of 1M USD in NYM tokens period has boosted Nym’s token treasury by just over 10M NYM tokens purchased at a historically low price-point. This now provides substantial resources to Nym’s Delegations Program to support operators just ahead of the commercial launch.

NymVPN Amnesia fork - test real world censorship resistance!
Nym R&D team have implemented a fork of the NymVPN apps with Amnezia enabled. Amnezia is to wireguard what shadowsocks is to socks5. It makes it far harder to detect and censor NymVPN traffic and improves censorship resistance for users!
The fork is now available here for people to try!

Internet censorship goes well beyond blocking websites – it can also restrict access to tools, like VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), which people rely on to bypass restrictions and access information freely. Security audits of the Nym network and apps 2023-2024 🔐
In the leadup to the commercial launch of NymVPN to the world, the Nym network and apps have undergone two thorough and independent security audits in the last two years.
The goal has been to make sure Nym’s technology, cryptography, and network are in top shape for when NymVPN lands in customers’ hands.
Like Nym’s open source code, these audits are made public as well as the Nym team’s responses explaining the measures taken to address relevant issues. ⬇️
