How do you know when to stop trading?

It's at the moment you hit the rock bottom. When you are exhausted, don't know what happened, don't know what to do next. When you say to yourself: How is this even possible? This shouldn't have occured to me!

Or it's the moment you're on cloud nine. This wasn't possible, but you see it now with your own eyes. They said you'd never have all the stars aligned perfectly for the odds to be this much in your favor, yet here they are!

What we tried to say is: actually, you need to stop trading when your Stop Losses or Take Profits got triggered. Don't overthink it 😉

❕Ilya Shirokov: Both algorithmic and manual trading have their own drawbacks.

The main key to success is creating strategies that do not standardize the market (trying to confine the market into some boundaries), but accompany it. This is the key to success through the market POV.

The second key is trader psychology: absence of greed and subjectivity.

When trading, one needs to create a method for strategy evaluation and a method for approaching algorithm parameters without over-optimizing them or creating false expectations.
