I've noticed WinRAR CVE-2025-6218 being thrown around by scummy individuals. If someone sends you tools/databases in a .rar format, extract it using 7zip or another alternative that isn't vulnerable. This flaw in WinRAR allows them to drop malicious files in sensitive directories leading to potential system compromise, for example windows start-up folder.
