Growing Nonsense About Wilhelm Reich and Orgone Energy on Global Internet.

The current craze about "orgonite", "orgonium", "orgone generators", "orgone zappers", "chembusters" and similar distortions** has done a tremendous damage to the research legacy of the late Dr. Wilhelm Reich, who discovered a new cosmic force in nature and called it the orgone energy. The abuse of fact in this crazed and very public distorion of Reich is comparable to someone who would abuse nutritional or herbal remedies, by claiming if you mixed those substances up with purple and pink glitter, and stuck a yin-yang or hex-symbol or mandala on your forehead when ingesting them, they would then "align the cosmic forces to bring you money, wealth, happiness, sex, power, love!", etc. Nutritional supplements and herbal remedies, when carefully used according to the scientific and empirical evidence worked out by generations of physicians and healers, can work a very powerful influence on human physiology, to cure many diseases or keep you well and strong. Reich's original orgone accumulator, in this comparative example, is an equally if not more powerful therapeutic agent for improving the immune system, and reducing symptoms of a variety of diseases, including cancer. It is, all by itself, a very serious scientific and medical breakthrough discovery and powerful therapeutic tool, and there's nothing mystical about it.
By contrast, the "orgonite" and "generator" gadgets are feeble imitators. Maybe if one has absolutely zero knowledge or prior experience on the subject, the very weak orgone radiation from the metallic components of an orgonite-generator gadget might introduce someone to the subjective aspects of the radiation, and give them some limited subjective sensations or even unusual biological reactions. But the whole context of Reich's discovery then gets mystified and distorted way beyond rationality. For example, one can feel the life-energy radiation even more strongly as it radiates off a plain old plastic bag filled with steel wool pads, as found in any hardware store. Allow such a bag of steel wool to gently rest on your open palms and the radiant field is nearly always present and sensible. The orgone life-energy is everywhere, and interacts with all kinds of materials, but only Reich's original orgone accumulator or orgone blanket with their layered construction makes optimal use of this discovery.
The undocumented nonsense spread by the "orgone lump" junk promoters drags Reich's findings into a mystical swamp. Worst of all are the "chembuster" people, claiming to "end chemtrails" (jet contrails, composed of humidity and some air pollution) using Reich's words and terms in abusive and inaccurate ways. The orgonite-generator-chemtrail gadgeteers make fantastic claims, complete with references to mystical "shadow worlds" and "dark forces", speaking about "shape shifting reptillians" who are "repulsed by chembusters" or by "Holy Hand Grenade" pyramids made from "orgonite". Or they claim that serious health problems from exposure to cell phone and tower radiation, or "smart meters" is going to be "neutralized" by putting some orgonite lumps in your back yard. This is madhouse folly creating an overall public denigration and ridicule of Reich's work among more serious-minded people, maligning his important and objectively demonstrated findings. If you are serious, please consult Reich's original writings on the subject of the orgone energy and accumulator.

Abstract: The main points of the life and scientific production of Ott Christoph Hilgenberg (1896-1976) have been reconstructed. The events took place between America and Berlin: in America from 1925 to 1928 the young Hilgenberg, with a diploma in Mechanical Engineering, worked as a Geophysicist in an oil prospecting company. It was there that he probably developed his interdisciplinary ideas, which, influenced in various ways by the European cultural climate, brought him into the field of global tectonics. He conceived a theory about the expansion of the Earth based on the nature of the gravity field. In 1933, the theory was published in his classic work 'Vom wachsenden Erdball'. Upon his return in Germany he performed various types of research at the School of Engineering, then that of Geology and Paleontology at the Technical University of Berlin. He was also briefly involved as editor of the scientific publications at the Technical University of Berlin, where he made a contribution towards saving the book collection as the war ended. During the years spent in Berlin, he continued to refine his elegant version of the theory of Earth’s expansion publishing articles and books on this subject up to the last years in his life. The importance of Hilgenberg lies in the fact that he marks the beginning of the integration of various scientific disciplines from Physics to Paleontology and Paleomagnetism, in support of a universal tectonic theory, and that he made paleogeographic reconstructions on globes with smaller radii than the present one. All those who have worked or are working with one of the versions of expansion tectonics owe him enormous gratitude for his inspiration and for the scientific and moral lesson of fifty years spent in unflagging defence of his ideas. The material gathered and kindly made available by his daughter Helge has been indispensable for this recalling.

Orgonomic Midwifery: An Introductory Textbook

Orgonomic midwifery is the practice of midwifery informed by orgone-therapeutic knowledge and methods.

Orgone therapy is a little known body/mind form of psycho-therapy which was developed by Wilhelm Reich (1897-1957) in the nineteen thirties. It is the original body-orientated psycho-therapy and was the first to involve work with people’s breathing, muscular tension, and bodily attitudes, as well as the more conventional aspects of psycho-therapy that most people take for granted, feelings, blocks to feelings, emotional contact, family history, and so on. All other body-orientated therapies are based on his discoveries.

Reich discovered that an individual’s own history is literally built into their organism by the process of muscular armouring, chronic muscular tension formed in childhood. This has a disruptive effect on the autonomic nervous system and many of the physiological functions of the organism such as digestion, breathing, circulation, and, significantly for us, childbirth.

"...particle physics, as practiced since 1930, is a futile enterprise in its entirety. Indeed physics, after the groundbreaking findings at the beginning of the twentieth century, has undergone a paradigmatic change that has turned it into another science, or better, a high-tech sport, that has little to do with the laws of Nature. It is not uncommon in history for researchers to follow long dead ends, such as geocentric astronomy or the overlooking of the continental drift. Often, the seemingly necessary solutions to problems, after decades of piling assumptions on top of each other, gradually turn into something that is ludicrous from a sober perspective. A few authors, such as Andrew Pickering and David Lindley, have lucidly pointed out the shortcomings, failures and contradictions in particle physics in much detail, providing, between the lines, a devastating picture. Though their conclusions may not be very different from mine, I cannot take the detached perspective of a science historian. It annoys me too much to see another generation of physicists deterred by the dumb, messy patchwork called the standard model of particle physics that hides the basic problems physics ought to deal with.

"Therefore, my opinion is expressed very explicitly in the book. It is written for the young scholar who wants to dig into the big questions of physics, rather than dealing with a blend of mythology and technology. It should demonstrate to the majority of reasonable physicists that the high energy subsidiary is something they would be better getting rid of, because it doesn’t meet their standards. All scientists who maintain a healthy skepticism towards their particle colleagues should be encouraged to express their doubts, and the general public, many of whom intuitively felt that the irrational exuberance of July 4, 2012 had little to do with genuine science, should come to know the facts. Last but not least, it should provide journalists and people responsible for funding decisions with information they need to challenge the omnipresent propaganda."

The Cosmic Ether Changes Everything!

The historical ether-drift experiments of Michelson-Morley, Dayton Miller and others yielded positive results for an ether wind and light-speed variations of 5 to 18 kilometers per second. Academic bias and erasure has misrepresented these facts for over 120 years, to the point that few dare question today. Scientist James DeMeo reviews the original documents and archives, exposing the facts which demolish nearly all of the post-ether astrophysical theories, including Einstein's relativity, the "big bang", "black holes" and quantum magic. Cosmic ether exists and moves in a creative gravitational spiral vortex, as the long-sought prime mover and life-energy. Part I, Cosmic Ether as Theory and Experimentally Confirmed Fact, includes 8 different chapters which firstly introduces the concept of ether, then details the late 18th and 19th Century experimenters who made its detection by increasingly sophisticated instruments. The interferometer experiments of Dayton Miller are introduced, exposing facts by direct quotations from their publications in mainstream science journals, of multiple positive detections of the ether. In most every case, from the early to the more recent ether-drift experiments, the cosmic axis of Earth's motion in space, in right ascension and declination were in close agreement with the Sun's motion through the galaxy, towards the star Vega. These experiments provide evidence violating a major starting assumption for Einstein's theory of relativity, showing that light speed is variable, depending upon direction in the cosmos.
Part II, The Empire Strikes Back: Erasure, Mystification and Falsification of History, covers the rise of Albert Einstein's theory of relativity, and how he and his supporters managed to obscure and ignore the positive outcomes of the various ether-drift experiments. It also details the unethical "hatchet-job" against Dayton Miller's ether research, years after his death, by Einstein sycophant Robert Shankland, whose paper is still cited today as "definitive proof against Miller's ether-drift findings". That, it most certainly was not! Einstein's originally friendly, but later dismissive treatment of Miller is detailed, including his statements in private letters wherein he expressed deep concern that, if Miller's work was correct, then his theory of relativity would "collapse like a house of cards".
Part III, Into New Territory: Additional Evidence for a Material, Motional and Dynamic Ether, Dr. DeMeo overview findings from different disciplines, for a biologically-active and water-reactive cosmic life-energy. These findings are very agreeable to those of the ether-drift scientists, who postulated a material entrained ether. Direct evidence for the cosmic ether and ether-wind, by other names, are shown to have cosmic motions nearly identical to the older ether-drift findings: the interstellar wind, dark matter wind, cosmic ray wind, neutrino wind, and so forth. Seventeen different cosmological factors with nearly identical cosmic azimuth directions are identified in this study, integrating the older ether-drift findings with modern astronomy! The serious implications for modern astrophysical theory are detailed, even while empirical astronomy and space science engineering remain unchallenged. All the post-ether astrophysical theories are shown to be mired in mysticism and unproven assumptions.
The Dynamic Ether of Cosmic Space provides over 100 photos and graphical illustrations, with full references, an index, glossary and two Appendices. It is developed for the educated layperson and student, but most scientific professionals will find it eye-opening and refreshing.
